BKFC continues to be on the up, no doubt thanks to Conor McGregor, who became a part owner of the promotion earlier this year in April.
The UFC superstar certainly brings a lot of eyes and attention to whatever he’s doing, which in turn gives the promotion a lot more bargaining power than they once had.
With “The Notorious” now attached, they can look to expand into areas that wouldn’t have been possible without the profile that the Irishman brings to the table.
It appears that “The Mac” had some business to attend to after enjoying himself in London.
David Feldman Says Conor McGregor Has Already Held Meetings About BKFC-Riyadh Season Collaboration
In a recent interview on the Energized Show, BKFC founder David Feldman spoke about the promotion’s upcoming plans for the near future.
Turki Alalshikh and the Saudi Arabian General Entertainment Authority have been able to make a huge impact on boxing by making events bigger and better than ever before.
If BKFC was able to get in on the act in any way, it could be huge for the growth of the promotion and the sport of bare-knuckle boxing as a whole.
When asked about whether a collaboration with Riyadh Season would be possible at some point down the line, Feldman said that there may be an update on that not too far away.
Feldman said that McGregor has already been in talks to try and make this happen.
“Yeah, news coming. Conor had a great meeting with them yesterday. Fantastic news coming.”

BKFC (Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship) leader, David Feldman has once more echoed the promotion’s intention to discuss a deal with UFC alum, Nate Diaz, claiming that the organization intend to add to their roster considerably when their partnership with Triller goes public at the end of this year.
Diaz, who has spent the majority of his storied mixed martial arts career under the banner of Zuffa LLC throughout the now-defunct, WEC, The Ultimate Fighter, and the UFC – ended his stay with the Dana White-led promotion in September of this year.
Completing his contractual obligations, Stockton favorite, Diaz headlined UFC 279 in an impromptu welterweight fight against former interim lightweight champion and fellow TUF winner, Tony Ferguson – wrapping up a fourth round guillotine choke victory.
Despite prior claims from both BKFC and Bellator MMA that they would be discussing the prospect of inking Diaz to a multi-fight deal in the immediate aftermath of his UFC 279 appearance, the UFC retained a exclusivity period in which they could offer Diaz a new contract if they so wished.
BKFC remain confident of securing the signature of UFC alum, Nate Diaz
However, according to Feldman, BKFC remains firmly interested in signing Nate Diaz – as soon as their deal with Triller goes public at the end of this annum, in fact.
“Realistically, I want Nate Diaz,” David Feldman told TMZ Sports during a recent interview. “We weren’t allowed to make a play for him yet because he was in that UFC [exclusivity] window. This partnership I did with Triller – when this thing goes public in late December or early January, the funding is gonna be available and I want everybody.”
“I don’t mean to sound that cocky, but I want everybody,” Feldman explained. “I will be in the business for every single free agent that ever comes to market now. That’s what’s really gonna take it for us to blow up. We’re definitely very popular around the world. People know about bare knuckle – they know BKFC. They enjoy the fights, but one or two of those names I think really catapult it.” (Transcribed by MMA Mania)
Despite Feldman’s interest in signing Diaz, the veteran Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace has found himself continually linked with a crossover to professional boxing – in the form of a 2023 clash against undefeated puncher, Jake Paul since his UFC exit.

Nate Diaz would make a fit great in the Bare Knuckle FC as per the president David Feldman.
Fan favorite Diaz was put on ice by the promotion for over a year after his last outing against Leon Edwards in June 2021. He had been asking for his release from the UFC but found it frustrating to complete the final fight on his current deal. That is until he got matched up with welterweight contender Khamzat Chimaev for his next fight at UFC 279.
Nate Diaz would be a great fit, says David Feldman
In an interview with MMA Junkie Radio, BKFC president David Feldman talked about the possibility of Nate Diaz fighting in his promotion after completing his contract with the UFC.
“I think it would be a great fit for our organization,” Feldman said. “Let’s see what happens with this fight that they just announced in the UFC with him.”
Diaz will first need to compete against the rising “Borz” who goes undefeated in 11 bouts as a pro. They’ll clash at UFC 279 on Sept. 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight was booked after a nearly year-long dispute between the UFC and Diaz, who had previously been linked to numerous opponents including Dustin Poirier.
Feldman will wait for the result of Diaz’s next fight before confirming
The 37-year-old Stockton native has talked about his plans to pursue other opportunities, such as boxing Jake Paul for a big payday match, and even discussed competing in other sports such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in which he’s a 3rd-degree black belt under Cesar Gracie.
While that may be a positive sign when it comes to Diaz’s openness to other ventures, Feldman will wait to see how the match plays out before making any final decisions.
“The one thing I always want to worry about is that these fighters should still be fighting and not saying he definitely should be fighting,” Feldman said. “But after a tough fight like that, does he want to continue fighting? Is his heart in it? Is his body still in it, and is he ready to do it?
“If those answers are yes, 100 percent we would be in the Nate Diaz business – a hundred percent.” (ht Simon Samano/MMA Junkie)

Bare Knuckle FC (BKFC) president David Feldman isn’t done with heavyweight signings just yet.
Earlier this week it was announced that former UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell inked a deal with BKFC. However, it sounds like he’ll be joined by a few other big names in the division as well. Recently, Feldman spoke to MMA Underground’s John Morgan about a variety of topics, including their recent signing of Rothwell.
While discussing the signing, Feldman teased that he is also in talks with a few more big-name heavyweights to join the promotion.
“We have two more big signings coming this week in the heavyweight division as well,” Feldman said. “And I think by the end of the week people are going to say ‘Man that heavyweight division is really looking good.”
When asked for more information on the potential signings, Feldman noted that one of them is actually a former world title contender in boxing. Another hasn’t been in the public eye for some time but has had fights with some big names. And finally, another MMA star who recently competed in a “top MMA organization.”
“We have a former world championship contender in boxing that we’re looking to sign right now,” Feldman said. “Hopefully get that one done tomorrow or the next day. Fought everyone in the world. And then — actually three signings. One guy that hasn’t been around for a little bit, but he fits this style perfectly.
“And then another guy that was fighting in one of the top MMA organizations recently. So we’re going to have four new additions to the heavyweight division (with Ben Rothewell), and I think the heavyweights are going to be happy because, hopefully, it’s going to become some good money fights for them down the road.”
