Building off the highly palpable buzz of tomorrow night’s (Saturday, March 5, 2016) UFC 196, the world’s biggest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion will unveil the spring’s biggest fights and events in today’s ‘Unstoppable’ press conference from Las Vegas.
Scheduled to appear are former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his arch rival, current champion Daniel Cormier, who will once again meet for the belt in the main event of April 23’s UFC 197. After a series of seething social media barbs this week, Jones has stated that the tension will be ‘ramped up’ at the presser after shockingly appearing in UFC content with the belt.
Also set to make an appearance are middleweight champion Luke Rockhold and former champion Chris Weidman, the world’s top two 185-pound fighters who are set to clash again in a rematch at June’s UFC 199. Rockhold battered Weidman in a fourth round TKO to seal the belt at December 2015’s UFC 194.
