According to both CBS 8 and TMZ Sports, the UFC has officially been sold for $4 billion.

The reports making the rounds claims that the papers for the sale were officially signed on Saturday, the actual same day the historic UFC 200 event took place. The official announcement regarding the sale is expected to be made publicly as soon as Monday.

Both reports also indicate that longtime UFC President Dana White will stay on with the new owners as the president for the UFC, and that surprisingly enough, Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta will maintain a small ownership stake in the company.

CBS 8 is reporting that they will have interviews with both Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta on Monday morning.

Many are pointing to the simple smiley-face emoji that White posted on Twitter on Sunday, which you can see below, as his reaction to the rumors.

In the main event at the landmark UFC 200 pay-per-view event on Saturday night, yet another new UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion was crowned, the first female Brazilian champion in UFC history.

Amanda Nunes dominated Miesha Tate with relative ease, busting her face up and hurting her with strikes standing before finishing her via rear-naked choke at the 3:16 mark of the opening round.

After referee Herb Dean broke up the fight, Tate, who was seemingly out of it, got up and went after Nunes, as she didn’t appear to realize that the fight was over.

On Saturday night, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar made his long-awaited Octagon return, and it was a successful one.

Lesnar, who is still under contract to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), defeated the top-ten ranked heavyweight contender Mark Hunt, with scores of 29-27 across the board.

It was the third round where Lesnar looked his most dominant, as he spent the round on top of Hunt, many times in full mount, and brutalized him with vicious ground and pound, stopping to try and arm-triangle submission at one point.

After the fight, Joe Rogan interviewed Lesnar and asked him where things stand now that he just beat a top-ten ranked guy in his first fight in years. Lesnar told Rogan he was going to take things one step at a time, giving no indication regarding his future plans.

Jones B-Sample Test Results Come Back Same As Initial Tests, USADA Issues Statement

Well, that didn’t last long.

After announcing his intentions to fight the results of an out-of-competition drug test by USADA that resulted in him being pulled from the main event of the biggest UFC event of all-time, it appears that his fight with USADA is already completed, and from all accounts, it appears to be another quick first-round knockout in favor of USADA.

Jones claimed he would request that his B-Sample be tested, hoping to prove the original results were simply an error of some kind, but unfortunately for the talented youngster, things didn’t work out the way he had hoped.

While it was stated that Jones, not USADA, would be the one to release the results of the B-Sample test, there was some concern that the public would never get the answer unless Jones was vindicated in his belief that he is innocent and clean, however things never got to that point because the B-Sample results came back pretty clear-cut.

It was USADA spokesman Ryan Madden, however, not Jones, who announced the results of the second test on Friday. He issued the following brief statement to members of the MMA media this evening, confirming that the B-Sample tests came back with the same results as the initial A-Sample.

“I can confirm that Mr. Jones’ B sample results have been reported by the laboratory, and that the results confirm the findings of the A sample.”

As UFC’s International Fight Week continues to roll on through what is easily the busiest weekend of the year in the MMA world, it’s time to close the UFC Fight Night 90 chapter and begin looking ahead to chapters two and three, as The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale takes place live tonight and the official weigh-ins for Saturday’s UFC 200 pay-per-view are also on the schedule for today.

The official public weigh-ins for Saturday’s landmark UFC 200 event are scheduled for 6pm ET. / 3pm PT., and can be seen right here at MMANews.com, as it will be streamed live via the YouTube player embedded above. As noted, the card went through a couple of changes this weekend, as Jon Jones was pulled from his scheduled main event title fight against Daniel Cormier after he was notified by USADA that he has been flagged for a potential Anti-Doping violation.

As a result of the Jones situation, the UFC 200 has undergone a couple of changes, most notably on the pay-per-view side of things. The new main event of the show will be the Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt fight. With Jones being pulled from his fight just days before the show, it seemed doubtful that he would still be fighting on the card. Late Thursday evening, however, UFC announced that former longtime 185-pound champion Anderson Silva would be the man to step up on incredibly short notice to fight Cormier, the champion one full weight class above his regular fighting weight.

UFC 200 Pay-Per-View Fights

– Miesha Tate vs. Amanda Nunes (UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title)
– Brock Lesnar vs. Mark Hunt
– Daniel Cormier vs. Anderson Silva
– Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar (Interim UFC Featherweight Title)
– Cain Velasquez vs. Travis Browne

UFC 200 FS1 Preliminary Fights

– Cat Zingano vs. Julianna Pena
– Johny Hendricks vs. Kelvin Gastelum
