This video was shot before Machida learned that he would be facing Quinton Jackson, but it seems that he was more than hopeful to face the former light heavyweight champion. Props to Sherdog.

Mir was interviewed by MMASucka at the Armageddon Fighting Championships 3 which featured his jiu jitsu coach Robert Drysdale securing his first victory in mixed martial arts. While Mir says he wasn’t interested, it’s hard to imagine that someone who has admitted to obsessing about Lesnar wouldn’t be eagerly hoping(and watching) for his demise. In any case Mir is focused on his upcoming rematch with Big Nog, who hopefully will put up more of a fight than the first match between the two.

UFC 121 is tentatively(non officially) set to take place on October 23, 2010 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and will be the fourth time the promotion returns. Velasquez is a legit threat to Lesnar’s reign as champ, but he’s definitely going up to the highest level in this bout.
