Boxing is currently in a rough state of affairs and after the latest antics involving Jake Paul, Tommy, and John Fury, its future isn’t looking any brighter.

Tommy Fury was there to partake in an exhibition match against Rolly Lambert that would see no winner. It would’ve been hard to call a winner anyways, as, by all accounts, the two did much more showboating than actual fighting.

Jake Paul was in attendance, sitting ringside. Obviously, this was a recipe for disaster, and after the Tommy Fury fight, things would start to get very cringy. It started when Tommy Fury took the mic and called out Jake Paul. This wasn’t anything abnormal as the two have been beefing for what seems like years now. However, things took an unexpected turn when Tyson and Tommy Fury’s father joined the fray.

John Fury and Jake Paul nearly fight at Mayweather vs. Deji event

“He (Jake Paul) ain’t gonna step in here, cause he ain’t no man”, Tommy Fury began, furious for an unknown reason. “I’ll fight him now when I’ve just had a fight! Get in this ring now, c’mon! You, get in the ring now! The waters just fine, get in!”

Jake Paul was standing ringside, and magically a microphone appeared in his hands in perfect timing to capture his response. “How ’bout you get out of the ring now?” The youtube star turned boxer sneered. “You get outta here. Come here!”

Tommy Fury was furious, and kept screaming for Jake Paul to enter the ring, practically foaming at the mouth and looking like a stroke could even possibly afflict him at that moment.

Suddenly a crip and man from the streets, Jake Paul replied in the fashion of an inner city gang member: “Come on P***y a**! Get out here cuhh! Let’s go, you fuc*ing suck at fighting! Let’s go, pull up, pull up!”

If that wasn’t enough ridiculousness, the antics were sadly not even over at that point. The world wasn’t ready for it, but John Fury was about to leave his mark on this situation.

After Tommy Fury tried and failed to exit the ring to fight Jake Paul, it would now be John Fury’s turn. The old man would rip his shirt off and give his attempt at escaping the ring to fight Jake Paul. When restrained by security, he would opt instead to show off his boxing prowess by shadowboxing…

John Fury trashed Jake Paul after his win over Anderson Silva and claimed his son Tommy would knock him out with one punch.

This past Saturday, ‘The Problem Child’ faced Silva in a boxing match at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. He earned an impressive unanimous decision win over the MMA icon to extend his undefeated run as a professional to six.

Before Paul got paired up with Silva, he was scheduled to fight Tommy Fury in what many believed would be a proper boxing challenge for the social media influencer-turned-boxer.

John Fury is not sold on Jake Paul after his win over Anderson Silva

Following Paul’s win over Silva, John Fury, father of Tommy and former boxing champion Tyson, criticized his performance.

“If any of my sons was fifty years old and doing that, I’d say ‘Listen, have a day off, give your head a wobble,’” Fury Sr. said (transcribed by MMA Mania). “‘Alls you’re going to do is make a fool of yourself and entertainment for other people. You’re making the other man that’s useless look good.’ Jake Paul can’t fight. [Tommy] will knock Jake Paul out with one punch. And I’ll say it now on camera: Jake Paul will get knocked out with the first right hand that he throws, and I’ll put money on it.”

Fury praised Tommy for fighting proper boxers unlike Paul

The outspoken John Fury further praised Tommy for competing against actual boxers, unlike Paul, whom he bashed for only taking on mixed martial artists.

“This man [Tommy] is fighting here, at least he’s a proper fighter,” he said. “He trains as a boxer. All he’s fighting, he’s had seven pro fights against proper opposition. Not some hand-picked geriatric that needs a Zimmer frame [walker] to get in the ring.”

Tommy had expressed a desire to fight Paul if he beat Silva but no concrete developments have come yet.

John Fury seemed to put aside his differences with Dean Whyte as the two men shadow boxed each other in front of a roaring crowd.

At the Tyson Fury vs. Dillian Whyte press conference yesterday, John Fury and Dean Whyte nearly came to blows amidst the rising heat of the upcoming fight. They got into an altercation that needed the combined efforts of the 33-year-old fighter and Whyte to keep the 57-year-old John back from going all guns blazing.

In a recent video uploaded to The Mac Life, it seems like the two have made up now just a day before the fight takes place at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

While the audio isn’t clear enough to hear what they’re saying, John Fury, can be seen exchanging some words with Dean Whyte before the latter gave him a thumbs-up as a sign of peace. The pair proceeded to shadow box to entertain the cheering crowd around them. Towards the end of the video, Whyte acknowledged Fury’s boxing abilities as he exclaimed, “You got skills man!”

Tyson Fury takes on Dillian Whyte this Saturday

The long-awaited match-up between WBC and The Ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and WBC interim heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte will finally go down this Saturday, April 23. ‘The Gypsy King’ has been picked as a significant favorite (-550) by the bookies compared to Whyte’s +400.

After defending his world titles against Deontay Wilder in their trilogy match, Fury comes off two successive wins over the former WBC heavyweight champion to take on his mandatory challenger Whyte. ‘The Body Snatcher’ was originally scheduled to defend his interim strap against Otto Wallin on October 30 but was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a shoulder injury.

Choosing not to reschedule his bout with Wallin, Whyte decided to take a shot at Fury’s world titles. There has been speculation regarding the winner potentially facing the victor of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 in their next fight. While there have also been talks of a showdown with UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, Fury has stated his desire to retire after this fight leaving the sport unblemished with no losses.

Do you think Tyson Fury will retire after his fight with Dillian Whyte?

Jake Paul may be fighting Tommy Fury next, but his opponent’s father had some things to say at their pre-fight press conference.

The YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has accepted his first fight against someone who has pro boxing experience. While he has faced former world champions and Olympians, none have had pro boxing experience until now when he faces off against Fury, who is the younger brother of the heavyweight champion and has a record of 7-0.

Ahead of their clash on December 18th, a press conference was held that saw Tommy, Tyson, and their father John Fury live in attendance while Jake Paul chimed in through live stream by a pool. While this was supposed to build hype for the fight, it was the elder Fury that stole the show, going back and forth with the YouTuber throughout the entirety of the press conference.

Perhaps the biggest moment came when Father Fury told Paul to take off his sunglasses in order to see the fear in the eyes of the influencer. When Paul refused and told Tommy to “shut your bitches up for me,” John stood up and looked as though he was going to punch the television that Paul was speaking through.

This was not the only fiery moment that occurred between John Fury and Jake Paul during this entertaining, if not bizarre, press conference. Later on, Fury made a prediction that his son would knock out the YouTuber and then fornicate with his lady in front of him.

“You know, when Tommy knocks you out, don’t you, he’s gonna bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog in front of you. So I’m telling you straight up,” Fury said.

Things got somehow more intense towards the end, as John Fury once again tried to get Paul to remove his sunglasses. But again, Paul was having none of it. In return, he offered something for Fury to do instead.

“I can see the fear in your eyes ’cause you won’t take them glasses off, and that’s some first-class shit how he won’t remove his eyewear! Get the glasses off, you idiot,” John Fury said.

“Suck my dick. Suck my dick real good, sir,” Paul responded.

“You ain’t got a fucking dick to suck. You’ve got a fanny between your legs,” Fury retorted.

The wild exchanges between John Fury and Jake Paul during this press conference left some saying that this was the real fight to make. Of course, that will never happen, but what will be going down is the fight with Tommy Fury, set to take place December 18th on pay-per-view.

Prior to their December professional boxing match, the undefeated punching duo of Tommy Fury and Jake Paul hed a pre-fight press conference, with the latter engaging in a wild war of words with Fury’s father, John Fury in a heated back-and-forth.

Slated to make his fifth professional boxing walk next month, the undefeated, 4-0 Paul looks to continue with a professional career that has seen him so far take a trio of opening round knockout victories against AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, and Ben Askren — prior to an August split decision triumph against former UFC welterweight kingpin, Tyron Woodley.

For Fury, the 7-0 Manchester-born striker also boasts an undefeated professional record which he intends to improve on his end-of-year pairing with Paul, having most recently taken home a unanimous decision victory over Paul’s teammate, Bellator MMA, and BAMMA alum, Anthony Taylor back on the same card as Paul and the above-mentioned, Woodley.

After months of speculation linking the pair to an eventual professional boxing showdown, Paul and former Love Island feature, Fury is slated to headline a professional boxing card promoted by Showtime on December 18. at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida at a catchweight of 192lbs.

Jake Paul, John Fury trade a multitude of insults ahead of Paul’s December boxing match with Tommy Fury

Appearing remotely for a press conference with BT Sport Boxing ahead of the December date, Paul engaged in a furious war-of-words alongside the trio of Tommy and John Fury, as well as Tommy’s elder brother, reigning WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.

Firing barbs at Paul, Fury claimed that the Ohio native had made a mistake by agreeing to fight his son, claiming he was “with the big dogs now“.

Shut up schoolboy,” John Fury said to Jake Paul. “And speak when you’re spoken to. You’re with the big dogs now, puppy. Shut up. You’re with the big dogs now, puppy — where you’ll get bit.

When Paul described Fury as a “single, old man” — the Galway-born former boxer claimed that Paul was lucky that he was unable to travel to the United States.

Yeah, I’ll tell you what, you wouldn’t like to meet the old man,” Fury said. “You can count your lucky stars that I’m banned from your country, cause I’d slap you ’till your teeth rattle you bum.

Fury then claimed that his son would handily knock Paul out.

You know Tommy [Fury] knocks you out, don’t you,” Fury said to Jake Paul. “He’s gonna bend your girlfriend over and do her like a dog, in front of you. I’m telling you straight. Get the glasses off, you idiot.
