Whilst knocking back and digging at incumbent WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, former two-weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor has once more hit out at long-time Octagon rival, the retired Khabib Nurmagomedov, labelling him a “goat sh*gger”.

McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion under the banner of the UFC, has been sidelined since he suffered a first round doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to former interim titleholder, Dustin Poirier back in 2021 – fracturing his left tibia and fibula in the first round.

Expected to make a return next year rather than this, ex-two-weight champion, McGregor had called for a December return at UFC 296 – the promotion’s final flagship event of the year, in a welterweight fight against Michael Chandler, however, those calls have been axed by organizational brass.

Conor McGregor unleashes brutal accusation at arch-rival Khabib Nurmagomedov

And ahead of the above-mentioned, Morecambe native, Fury’s boxing return next month against former UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, McGregor took aim at the boxing kingpin, as well as Nurmagomedov – accusing him of bestiality.

“Done it, done it,” Conor McGregor replied to Tyson Fury on his official X account in a now-deleted post. “Thought you said the goat sh*gger done it best, lad.” (H/T TalkSPORT)

Retiring from mixed martial arts competition back in 2020, Nurmagomedov, an inductee into the UFC Hall of Fame, called time on his illustrious career after unifying the lightweight titles with a submission win over then-interim champion, Justin Gaethje.

Sharing the Octagon in an infamous lightweight title fight back in 2018, Nurmagomedov, on that occasion, successfully defended the divisional crown with a fourth round neck crank submission win over the returning, McGregor as the pair clashed in one of the ugliest rivalries in the history of mixed martial arts.

Forever clamoring for a potential rematch with Nurmagomedov amid the Russian’s retirement from the sport, McGregor has so far failed in his efforts, with the Dagestan grappling ace recently noting how he is aware how much fans are hoping to see him fight in the future once more

Khabib Nurmagomedov rejected grappling match with George St-Pierre no desire UFC

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Rizvan Magomedov has confirmed that his client was approached regarding a potential grappling match with former two-weight champion, Georges St-Pierre, however, rejected the notion the former lightweight champion turned down a $5,000,000 payday to make a return.

Nurmagomedov, a former undisputed lightweight champion and promotional Hall of Fame inductee, called time on his undefeated mixed martial arts career back in 2020, bowing out of the sport boasting an unbeaten 29-0 professional record.

In his last outing, the American Kickboxing Academy staple submitted then-interim champion, Justin Gaethje with a second round triangle choke, before announcing his retirement from combat sports with immediate effect, after the passing of his father and head coach, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov

Tipped to eventually make a return to the Octagon, Nurmagomedov has stressed that he is aware of fan’s desire to see him compete once more, however, insists in terms of hunger for his own comeback he is “full”.

Khabib Nurmagomedov openly turned down a BJJ match with Georges St-Pierre

And according to his European manager, Magomedov, figures on a potential grappling match with the returning former two-division UFC champion and fellow Hall of Fame star, St-Pierre were never discussed – with only the topic of a potential showdown briefly broached.

“Where did Craig Jones get the figure of $5,000,000? Rizvan Magomedov questioned Russian outlet, TASS during a recent interview. “Maybe his grandmother whispered these numbers to him, it looks funny.”

“They [UFC} proposed to hold a fight [grappling match between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre], but the conversation didn’t even reach the [financial] amounts,” Magomedov explained. “They didn’t even discuss [it] – they didn’t ask what amount and price. They asked (Khabib Nurmagomedov) if there was a desire [to return] or not. Then it was all over.”

As for St-Pierre, the Canadian favorite is set to make a grappling outing on UFC Fight Pass – while reports of a competition against decorated submission threat, Demian Maia, are believed to still be premature.

Nurmagomedov, a former undisputed lightweight champion under the banner of the UFC, called time on his illustrious professional mixed martial arts career back in October 2020, vacating his lightweight crown the following year after the passing of his head coach and father, Abdulmanapa Nurmagomedov.

Enjoying a stunning 29-0 record throughout his gold laden career, Nurmagomedov successfully defended the lightweight summit on three occasions, most recently submitting Justin Gaethje in a title unification win, whilst retaining the belt in other submission stoppages of Dustin Poirier, and arch-enemy, former two-weight champion, Conor McGregor.

And while recently discussing a potential return to mixed martial arts competition during a sitdown interview with Patrick Bet-David, the American Kickboxing Academy staple claimed he was aware of fan’s desire to see him compete again.

However, in terms of competition – don’t expect Nurmagomedov to try his hand, or hands, in fact, under the Power Slap League, as he denounced the product entirely.

“I saw it [Power Slap League], but I don’t follow this,” Khabib Nurmagomedov explained. “Becuase in our mentality, like slap [slapping], it’s not good. It’s better to punch [in the] face. It’s better. No, don’t slap nobody, slap is no good.”

“You cannot slap men, no,” Khabib Nurmagomedov explained. “Because, like how are you gonna slap men? It’s not good. This is all, I don’t know – for America it’s okay. For me, it’s not okay to slap, even if I’m gonna have [a] chance, I’m never gonna slap people. [It’s] better [to] punch his face. This is [a] different mentality, so.”

Conor McGregor suggests title for Khabib Nurmagomedov documentary poo the bus the story UFC

Former two-weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor has reacted to news of an apparent upcoming documentary series produced by the promotion surrounding the career of arch-rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov – suggesting a rather inflammatory title for the production.

McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion under the banner of the UFC, has been sidelined from active competition since he headlined UFC 264 back in July 2021, fracturing his left tibia and fibula in a doctor’s stoppage TKO loss to Dustin Poirier.

Gearing up for an Octagon return, Conor McGregor has recently provided multiple updates on his fighting future across social media, sharing snaps and video footage of an apparent training camp, as he calls for a December return against The Ultimate Fighter 31 rival, Michael Chandler.

However, yet to book his return to the Octagon, McGregor has been vocal in recent weeks on his social platforms, and while initially offering praise to former foe, Max Holloway following his stunning third round KO win over The Korean Zombie at UFC Singapore today, the Dubliner had some choice words for another former opponent.

Conor McGregor again targets Khabib Nurmagomedov on his X account today

Reacting to news of a slated documentary series produced by the UFC regarding the professional mixed martial arts career and life of former undisputed lightweight champion, Nurmagomedov, McGregor hit out at such a feature.

“Poo on bus: The story,” Conor McGregor wrote in a now-deleted post on his official X account earlier today.

Revealing plans for a summer release of a documentary series next year, Nurmagomedov, who recently touched on the topic of a potential fighting return, infamously shared the Octagon with McGregor back in 2018.

Headlining UFC 229 back in October of that year, undefeated Russian ace, Nurmagomedov submitted the 35-year-old McGregor with a fourth round neck crank, to successfully defend this undisputed lightweight championship – before a mass brawl between the two’s respective fight camps and corners ensued.
