Fans just have to download a free application from www.IPLA.PL, then find the ‘Sport Walki’ (’Combat Sports’) page and then click KSW to begin watching past events, interviews and training camps.

European based FightersOnlyMagazine.co.uk offered the update on their site, posting this notice by a KSW representative.

“You can now watch KSW events II – XV and other exclusive materials such as KSW Qualifications, the KSW President’s Cup and the KSW Extra Fight Club. In our library you will also find a lot of interviews, conferences, materials and training camps dedicated to KSW Federation.”

KSW hosts it’s next event, KSW XVI, next month on May 21 and features a super heavyweight bout between the “World’s Strongest Man’ Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. former PRIDE fighter James “The Colossus” Thompson.

Interviews from both fighters on the bout can be found on the promotions official website (www.konfrontacja.com). Here are a couple of quotes from each interview.

Pudzianowski

You met your upcoming opponent for the first time a few days ago. What’s you initial reaction?
– He’s a big guy. I like these type of opponents. We are similar in size and this should result in an exciting fight.
You say that your trainings have dramatically changed since the Butterbean fight. What about the coaching stuff, do you still work with the same people?
– No, I train with an entirely new stuff. I prepare with freestyle and greco-roman wrestlers and boxers. In order to progress as an MMA fighter I needed to make those changes. I didn’t train very hard early in my career cause my body didn’t let me. Now my body has adapted to a new sport and we can kick some ass!

Thompson

You’ve just met Mariusz for the first time. What is your initial reaction?
– I knew he was a big yoked guy. When I saw him on TV, he looked different.
Different? What do you mean?
– He looks uglier that I thought. I’d say he’s even hideous… He must’ve fallen on his face when he was young quite a few times.
What can you tell about this clash? Do you have any strategy set for it?
– I want it to be a great fight for the fans. I want to win so I can come back here. I don’t have any special game plan. I will put on a show and have my hand raised at the end.

Saturday night also saw the Polish promotion Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki hold it’s latest event at Tower Hall in Warsaw, Poland. Khalidov would take exactly 33 seconds to submit Irvin in the opening round of the main event, earning only the third victory for a Polish based fighter on the card out of nine bouts during the whole night.

Sokoudjou would use devastating leg kicks to chop down Blachowicz over two rounds to earn the KSW LHW title. The former champ chose to stand and exchange kicks with “The African Assassin” and paid for it by seeing his nine fight win streak end.

“I know I didn’t have the power to beat him. He showed me a weakness and I took advantage of it.”

Finnish fighter Puhakka would walk away with the KSW lightweight title after choking out his Polish opponent, Górski, in the second round with an arm-triangle choke at 3:20.
