Paddy Pimblett Escorted Out of Liverpool vs. Watford Match After Risky Behavior: 'You'll Get Murdered'

Paddy Pimblett was escorted out of a soccer stadium after a series of exuberant celebrations put him in danger.

A hardcore Liverpool fan, ‘The Baddy’ was gifted tickets to a Premier League match between Liverpool and Watford by the rival team’s former goalkeeper, Ben Foster. Ahead of the game at Vicarage Road, Foster had warned Pimblett to keep a low profile and avoid celebrating goals.

However, the rising lightweight contender simply couldn’t help himself and jubilantly celebrated multiple Liverpool goals which caught the attention of a steward.

Paddy Pimblett

“We were chatting on Instagram,” Foster shared on his podcast, The Fozcast. “I got him four tickets for the game and they are Watford tickets at Watford, so he has to sit in the Watford end. So I said to Paddy, ‘I can get you four tickets but mate you have got to keep it on the down low. Don’t go putting it on the internet, don’t go causing a fuss, don’t celebrate if Liverpool score.’

“Considering at the time, Liverpool were top of the league popping, while we were struggling. [They] beat us 5-0, every goal went in and he’s jumping around celebrating,” (h/t Sportskeeda).

Informed that his behavior could be putting him in danger, Pimblett and his crew were promptly escorted out of the stadium.

“A steward comes over and says, ‘We are going to have to ask you to leave, you’ll get murdered if you stay in here doing that.’ Paddy then comes out the ground, got kicked out, and goes straight on Instagram [and says] ‘Thanks Fozzy lad for the tickets, I love you, but Watford you’re a c**t club’ and all this,” Foster continued.

Ben Foster fined 200k for giving Paddy Pimblett tickets to the event

Foster later revealed that he was penalized for giving Pimblett the tickets.

“As soon as the match finishes, we have been pumped 5-0, I then look at my phone and there is a thousand messages – thousands of everything. I’m like ‘oh no, oh no,‘” he added. “Anyway, I got a week’s fine for that, I got done a week’s wages. Lovely… £150k ($198,000) you owe me, Paddy.”

Hopefully ‘The Baddy’ sees fit to cut his friend a nice fat check and pay him back for his obnoxious behavior in the stands and his ill-advised comments on Instagram afterward.

Former two-weight UFC champion and avid Manchester United supporter, Conor McGregor has noted his interest in potentially vying for the purchase of English rivals, Liverpool, with rumors suggesting the Merseyside club is set to be put on the market by owners, FSG (Fenway Sports Group).

McGregor, a former undisputed lightweight and featherweight champion under the UFC banner, has been sidelined from active competition since July of last year, suffering a fracture of his left tibia and fibula in a first round doctor’s stoppage TKO loss against Dustin Poirier.

In January of last year, Conor McGregor suffered the first loss via knockout in his professional mixed martial arts career, dropping a rematch second round defeat to the aforenoted former interim titleholder, Poirier.

Conor McGregor must spend 6 months in the USADA testing pool before making a UFC comeback

Set to make his Octagon return in the coming months of next year, McGregor must first, however, spend a period of 6 months in the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) testing pool, having yet to be tested by the agency since the third quarter of last year.

Expressing his interest in purchasing Manchester United amid the failure of the European Super League, as well as the growing unrest of fans with the ownership of American family, The Glazers, McGregor has now expressed his willingness to attempt a purchase of fierce rivals, Liverpool.

“I WOULD LOVE IT!” Conor McGregor replied to a Twitter user who asked if he was interested in purchasing Liverpool from the Fenway Sports Group. “I requested my information on this, yes. Soon as I heard. What a turn of events! What a club!”

Yesterday, conflicting reports emerged detailing how the Fenway Sports Group, the current majority shareholders in Liverpool Football Club, were open to a potential sale of the Premier League side, however, further reports claimed a potential sale of stakes in the club rather than an entire sale of majority shares was more likely.

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett has addressed the criticism directed at Liverpool fans following this past weekend’s FA Cup Final.

On Saturday, Liverpool collided with Chelsea Football Club at the prestigious Wembley Stadium in London, England. On the line was one of the nation’s most prestigious domestic trophies, the FA Cup.

Inside the venue, which boasts a capacity of 90,000 and recently played host to the blockbuster heavyweight boxing showdown between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte, the 30,000+ Liverpool fans in attendance caused controversy after booing both the English national anthem and the presence of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.

Pimblett, an avid Liverpool fan who has always insisted that he’s ‘Scouse, not English’, took to Twitter following the match to hit back at former footballer Curtis Woodhouse, who questioned the display of boos and branded it as “embarrassing.”

“The embarrassing thing is u know exactly why it gets done your just coming on here to tweet about it for a reaction like a 6 year old kid, badly need to grow up u yanno fella”

The relationship between Liverpool natives and the rest of the country has been largely soured ever since the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, which saw 97 Liverpool fans lose their lives during an FA Cup match against Nottingham Forest.

The Liverpool fans were initially widely blamed for the tragic incident, including by leading politicians, the police, and tabloid papers like The Sun. To this day, Liverpudlians are still pushing for justice for the fatal moment, for which a High Court has since absolved fans of the blame.

When Woodhouse admitted knowing the reason for the boos, but suggested that he still disagreed with the motion nonetheless, Pimblett further laughed off the 42-year-old’s take.

“How does the fact we still want justice make zero sense? What have u been smoking today big man hahaha”

In the final, Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties (6-5) after the two teams battled to a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes of action. While Pimblett was not in attendance, he was watching along from the United States.

Despite pushing for a Liverpool-held UFC event, which he hopes will take place at Anfield stadium, the home of Liverpool Football Club, the promotion’s next visit to England will see fights return to The O2 in London on July 23.

What do you make of Paddy Pimblett’s comments? Are Liverpool fans justified in booing the national anthem?

UFC Newcomer Reveals Monster Weight Cut For UFC Liverpool

Craig White endured quite a huge weight cut ahead of his bout with Neil Magny last month:

Originally, Gunnar Nelson was slated to take on Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 130, which took place last month on May 27 in Liverpool England, but Nelson was forced to withdraw from the bout due to injury, leading the UFC to sign Craig White, who accepted the bout on short notice.

Ultimately, White suffered a first-round stoppage loss to Magny, but it’s not been revealed that the real struggle may have come before White even stepped into the cage.

Recently speaking with MMAFighting.com, White admitted that he cut a concerning 46 pounds to make the 171-pound limit. And this wasn’t the first time he had endured a difficult weight cut either, as he said that he cut nearly 40 pounds prior to a bout against John Redmond in 2014:

“In that moment, the Redmond cut was the first thing that crossed my mind,” White said. “At that stage, I was out of camp and I was the heaviest I’d ever been. All I could hear in my head was, ‘You’re 98 kilos (216-pounds) — what the f*ck are you doing?’ Two seconds later I accepted the fight.

“For the John Redmond fight, I did 17 kilos (37-pounds) in nine days, it was horrendous. I got rid of eight kilos in water that time. I had never used salt baths before that. I genuinely felt like I was going to die when I was walking to the scales that time,”

And White wasn’t the only fighter competing in Liverpool that endured a difficult weight cut, as headliner Darren Till missed weight for his bout against Stephen Thompson. A video was then later released chronicling Till’s weight cut.

In regards to that video, White claimed that his cut ‘would have made Till’s look easy’:

“The Till video is a strange one for me,” he said. “There are parts of it where you can see that he’s struggling and I definitely sympathize with him. I just don’t get why you need seven or eight guys to do these things with you. Another thing I couldn’t help but thinking was, ‘If people saw a video of my weight cut it would have made Till’s look easy.’

“I was doing two 15-minute baths for every hour. I started at eight at night and I didn’t go asleep until two in the morning. Then I got up at five in the morning and I did another four baths. Normally I can do 82 kilos (180-pounds) to 77 kilos (170-pounds) in five or six baths, but it took me 14 [baths] in total to hit weight in Liverpool.”

What do you make of White’s comments?
