In this day and age where the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) oversees the UFC’s drug testing strategies, it seems as if drug test failures are coming every other week.

The latest was a bit of a surprise, however.

It was reported earlier today (April 13, 2016) that long-time veteran and former light heavyweight champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida had admitted to using a banned substance ahead of his scheduled UFC on FOX 19 (April 16, 2016) rematch with Dan “Hendo” Henderson from Tampa, Florida.

As a result, the UFC has pulled him from the card, and Machida will likely face consequences after further details are provided by USADA.

In the wake of the news, Machida took to his official Facebook page to explain himself, apologizing to his fans, and noting that he didn’t know that the substance had been banned:

Are you buying Machida’s explanation, and what type of punishment do you expect to be given to “The Dragon”?

UFC on FOX 19, which is slated to go down this Saturday night (April 16, 2016) from Tampa, Florida, has received yet another hit to its main card.

Somewhat shocking news was released earlier today (April 13, 2016) when it was made clear that legendary former light heavyweight title holder Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida admitted to taking a banned substance, leading the UFC to pull him from his scheduled bout with Dan “Hendo” Henderson.

Henderson, obviously unhappy with the situation, took to his official Twitter account, reacting to the news, and voicing his disappointment in “The Dragon”:

It didn’t end there, however, as Henderson also took to Instagram, posting a humorous video aimed at Machida:

No. 9-ranked middleweight Gegard “The Dreamcatcher” Mousasi got back to his winning ways yesterday (February 27, 2016), scoring a dominant decision victory over Thales Leites in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 84 from London, England.

Now back on track, Mousasi is undoubtedly eyeing some bigger fights in the foreseeable future.

Speaking on the matter with MMAFighting’s Ariel Helwani, “The Dreamcatcher” tossed out a few names, but one that specifically garnered attention.

Mousasi indicated that he would like a rematch with former light heavyweight champion Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida. Although he dropped a decision to “The Dragon” back in 2014, Mousasi claims that Machida cheated by greasing up and using steroids:

“I would like to fight Michael Bisping, Vitor Belfort … Machida, when he’s not on steroids and he’s not greased up,” Mousasi said.“No, because it’s true. The guy was f—ing greased up, and he looked like a 15-year-old boy when I fought him. Obviously he was in Brazil. He was so f–king slippery.”

Some bold accusations to say the least, “The Dreamcatcher” admitted that he’s not alone with these remarks, once again naming Machida as a cheater:

“People now are surely going to say that I’m a bad loser, but the guy didn’t look normal for a f–king 38-year-old, and greased up all the way. He was greased up. Once he sweat, it was greasy. Even Luke Rockhold said that he was greased up when they fought.”

“He’s a cheater. What can I say? … F— him.”

Do you agree with Mousasi here, and who would you like to see him square off with next?
