Mike Perry sent a message to Khamzat Chimaev after the Swede’s UFC Vegas 11 win. On Saturday, Chimaev was set for the toughest fight to date as he was set to take on Gerald Meerschaert. “GM3” made it clear he was going to derail the Swede’s hype, yet that is far from what happened as […]
Popular welterweight Mike Perry is the latest fighter to call out Nick Diaz who is set to return to the Octagon in 2021. Perry took to social media and taunted Diaz in a series of posts, he wrote. “Who you hanging with @nickdiaz209 ? Y’all look soft and your nose looks worse then mine,” Perry wrote. “Your […]
“Who you hanging with @nickdiaz209 ? Y’all look soft and your nose looks worse then mine,” Perry wrote. “Your big head is a great target for this right hand old man. Look like you been riding ig horses with that stance. If you a gun slinger you shooting a 22
“F*ck the Diaz brothers ! East coast b*tch ! I’m not your average internet shit talker @nickdiaz209 , you can cut a check and I’ll show up if you really wanna do something about it. You won’t tho…”
Perry joins a long list of fighters who have already tried to match themselves against the former Strikeforce champ. Conor McGregor, Leon Edwards and Stephen Thompson are just some of the names currently linked with Diaz who shocked the world by announcing his comeback after 14-week camp and a test weight cut.
Diaz has not fought since January 2015 when he lost a unanimous decision to Anderson Silva. The fight was eventually overturned to a No Contest after Silva failed a drug test for PEDs. Diaz also failed a post-fight drug test for marijuana and was subsequently suspended. The Stockton, California native is currently on a three-fight winless streak that stretches all the way back to 2012. Diaz lost to Georges St Pierre by unanimous decision at UFC 158. Before that he dropped another decision against ‘The Natural Born Killer’ Carlos Condit at UFC 143. Diaz last picked up a win back in 2011 when he beat lightweight legend BJ Penn over three rounds.
Perry is coming off an impressive win over Mickey Gall. He has been forced to sit out for a while due to an incident at a Texas restaurant that saw Perry accused of assaulting three people. The UFC has gone on record to say they won’t be offering the popular welterweight any fights until he has undergone some type of rehabilitation program to combat his ongoing issues.
Mike Perry has his eyes set on eight fighters. Perry returned to the win column in June with a decision over Mickey Gall. After the fight, a disturbing video was released of him punching an old man and using profane language. The UFC then said he would not be getting offered any fights until he […]
When he does return to the Octagon, Perry already has his eye on eight fighters as he created a death wish list (via MMA Mania).
The eight fighters on Mike Perry’s death wish list are Niko Price, Nicolas Dalby, Daniel Rodriguez, Emil Meek, Khamzat Chimaev, Michel Pereira, Mounir Lazzez and Darren Till. In the photo he writes “All 8 of these fighters have made the same death wish, to die at the hands of “Platinum” Mike Perry in the cage, and Mike is happy to grant that wish.”
The biggest name on the list is Darren Till, and it should come as no surprise. The two have traded shots at one another and Till even made a website called MikePerryisabum.com and made several troll Instagram accounts.
Mike Perry even said he would go to jail in order to beat Darren Till up on the street.
“I don’t even want to give that dude the time of day until we can make it happen. Everybody is like ‘oh why did you block him?’ or I’m ‘scared’ of him. No, the thing is, I’m scared of myself!” Perry said. “You want to play with me over the internet because you would never say these things to my face! Nobody would! Nobody could! Because I would f—king do something about it. I don’t care who you are! I don’t give a f—k! Nobody gonna play with me in my life like that.
“Social media is not real time! You want to f—king play, and I’m not going to forget about it. If I could see this motherf—ker in the street, I would do it for free! If we are ever in the same place, at the same time, I will go to f—king jail for beating the brakes off of him, if he wants to be a little p-ssy boy and press charges on me.”
Whether or not Mike Perry will fight any of those eight fighters next time out is to be seen.

Popular welterweight fighter Mike Perry has issued and apology to his sponsors and the UFC following a string of incidents in the past month.
The UFC released an official statement after this video was released. In which the promotion state Perry will need to undergo some type of rehabilitation before they will offer him another fight, it read.
“UFC is aware and troubled by the video that was released last night concerning Mike Perry,” the statement, which was obtained by ESPN, read. “The conduct displayed by Perry is no reflective of that of our organization. Perry apologized for his behavior and acknowledged he was disappointed with himself that his actions may have reflected poorly on UFC. He further acknowledged that he believes he has some issues related to alcohol abuse and has informed UFC that he has committed to immediately seek professional treatment, including substance and behavioral counseling. At this time, UFC has informed Perry that he will not be offered a bout, and the parties have agreed to evaluate next steps for Perry following the completion of his treatment program.”
Since then things haven’t really got better for Perry who was last week found to be subject to an attempted restraining order by his ex-wife who claims a list of disturbing behaviour from the fighter. Danielle Nickerson says Perry threatened to beat her on several occasions but her attempt to obtain a protective order against Perry was thrown out.
Perry has had some good news lately though. On the same day last week he and his girlfriend Latory Gonzalez announced they are expecting. It seems the prospect of being a father has made Perry reflect on his actions and he has now taken the step to publicly apologize to the UFC, writing on social media.
“I want to be a better role model for my family. For my unborn son. My Queen Latory Gonzalez and for myself so I can earn the respect I deserve. To my sponsors and my bosses at UFC. I want to apologize for how my actions have impacted our relationships. I will be better all around.”
Do you think Mike Perry should be allowed to continue his UFC career?
