Days away from her return to the Octagon, Valentina Shevchenko is attempting to teach UFC interviewer Nina-Marie Daniele how to throw a Superman punch. Needless to say, the results were nothing short of hilarious.

On September 14, ‘Bullet’ back is in action as she looks to complete her trilogy with reigning flyweight women’s champion Alexa Grasso in the UFC 306 co-main event.

Grasso stunned Shevchenko in March 2023, securing a fourth-round submission victory to claim the 125-pound title.

Six months later, they would run it back only to go to a five-round split draw after judge Mike Bell controversially scored the fifth round 10-8 in favor of Grasso. Shevchenko strongly believes she should have left with the belt that night and she has no intention of leaving it in the hands of the judges when they go toe-to-toe for a third straight time this Saturday night.

Recently, Shevchenko took some time out of her intense training scheduled to show Daniele, also known as Nina Drama on social media, a thing or two inside the Octagon, including her signature Superman punch.

Laura Sanko and Luana santos love the Shevchenko-Daniele Team-up

UFC commentator Laura Sanko was very much amused by the video. Particularly when ‘Bullet’ insisted that Daniele stop screwing around and do the Superman punch “seriously.”

“Love it,” Sanko wrote in the comments on Instagram. “‘okay but now do it seriously.’”

Daniele replied to Sanko’s comment writing: “My heart stopped when she said that.”

Flyweight standout Luana Santos also commented on the clip with the tears of joy emoji.

“Miss you!!” Daniele wrote in response to Santos. “We have to film another video.”

Nina Drama's Bold Take on Sean Strickland Title Shot News

Nina-Marie Daniele is ready to see her favorite UFC fighter take back the middleweight title.

Daniele, also known by MMA fans as Nina Drama on social media has developed a close relationship with Sean Strickland in recent years. The two have routinely taken friendly digs at one another and even engaged in a Roman Candle battle that nearly saw ‘Tarzan’ lose a nipple.

Recently, UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that Strickland is the next man in line for a title opportunity, likely facing the winner of his Saturday’s UFC 305 headliner between defending champion Dricus Du Plessis and two-time titleholder Israel Adesanya.

Reacting to the news, Daniele echoed one of Strickland’s sentiments when it comes to the fight game.

”To the death,” Daniele wrote in resonse to the news.

How did Nina Drama and Sean Strickland become such good friends?

As for how Daniele and Strickland came to be close friends, we’ll just let the model-turned-UFC interviewer explain.

“In the first interview we ever did, Sean called me a wh*re and said I slept with Jon Jones for the interview and I told him he gets a chub while sucking in the souls of his opponent by submitting them from behind. It’s been history ever since. The two most unlikely people to become friends LOL. @SStricklandMMA is a real one!”

Strickland first claimed the middleweight title with a lights-out performance against Adesanya at UFC 293 last September. Unfortunately, his reign would be cut short after Du Plessis landed a razor-close split decision win over Strickland in January to take the belt back to South Africa.

Failing to lobby for an immediate rematch, ‘Tarzan’ was paired up with perennial contender Paulo Costa at UFC 302 in June. Though the scorecards were once again split, the consensus had Strickland clearly winning the fight and solidifying his spot as the division’s No. 1 ranked contender.

The unique friendship between Sean Strickland and UFC interviewer Nina-Marie Daniele (also known as Nina Drama on social media) always produces entertaining results.

Recently, Strickland took another dig at his friend and former model after she posted a picture of herself at the Republican National Convention in July. Like Strickland, Daniele is a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, who was announced as the GOP’s presidential nominee for the third time.

Still, that didn’t stop him from taking a dig at Daniele in the most Strickland-esque of ways.

“Didn’t think they let Mexicans in the RNC….. “excuse me senorita the cleaning crew doesn’t come till after the white men leave” lmao,” Strickland wrote in response to Daniele’s appearance at the RNC.

Sean Strickland has been reminded of Nina Drama’s heritage on more than one occasion

For those unaware, Daniele is not Mexican. She’s actually French and Italian, something she has reminded ‘Tarzan’ of on more than one occasion.

Of course, Strickland’s constant trolling of Daniele’s heritage is just a bit of fun between the two.

Over the years, the unlikely duo have become close friends. Daniele has often been spotted in videos training alongside the former UFC middleweight world champion.

The two even engaged in a Roman Candle battle that nearly cost Strickland a nipple.

Sean Strickland was last seen inside the Octagon at UFC 302, scoring a split decision win over Paulo Costa. It was a return to the win column for ‘Tarzan’ after he surrendered the 185-pound crown to the current champion, Dricus Du Plessis, five months earlier at UFC 297.

Holding strong as the No. 1 ranked contender in the division, Strickland is content to sit on the sidelines and await the winner of the UFC 305 headliner this month between Du Plessis and the returning Israel Adesanya. The winner of that fight will leave Perth with the middleweight title and an inevitable rematch with Strickland.

UFC 304's Belal Muhammad roasts Sean Strickland following Nina-Marie Daniele's prank gone wrong

It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between Sean Strickland and Belal Muhammad.

Despite fighting in separate weight classes, the two top-five contenders have traded barbs with one another over the last few years. Though things have quieted down between the two, a prank gone wrong by MMA interviewer Nina-Marie Daniele has seemingly reignited their once fiery feud.

While Daniele’s prank was fairly harmless, if not a little childish, it gave Strickland the ammunition he needed to take a dig at the first-time title challenger.

“If you told him that in person he would put his head down and walk away,” Strickland commented during the Instagram Live feed. “Then try to fight you on Twitter lol.”

It was an unusually tame response for Strickland. Still, it served its purpose, eliciting a scathing response from ‘Remember The Name’ in return.

Belal Muhammad

“If sean tells you he’s gonna fight you to the death,” Muhammad wrote on X. “It means he’s gonna jab you and play defense for 25 minutes … if Sean sees your a harmless kid or homeless man on his ring camera he’s gonna walk out side with a gun and record it to make it seem like he’s crazy … if sean goes on a podcast it means he’s probably gonna cry.”

Unfortunately, we’ll likely never see Sean Strickland and Belal Muhammad settle their beef inside the Octagon, but on Friday, July 27, the latter will get his first shot at UFC gold. Emanating from Manchester, England, Muhammad will headline UFC 304 as he challenges the promotion’s reigning welterweight king, Leon Edwards.

The opportunity has been a long time coming for Muhammad who is riding a nine-fight win streak, including victories over three top-10 contenders in his last four outings.

Meanwhile, Sean Strickland is set to square off with one-time title challenger Paulo Costa at UFC 302 on June 1. However, their co-main event has been called into question after ‘Tarzan’ claimed that the Brazilian had not yet signed on the dotted line for their potential title eliminator.

Dana White was quick to come to Nina-Marie Daniele’s defense after one unruly UFC fan dubbed her “cringe asf.”

Daniele, best known by her online persona Nina Drama, has taken MMA media by storm over the last couple of years with her series of viral interviews that would see her direct some fairly ridiculous and downright uncomfortable questions toward fighters.

But as is the case with any woman trying to infiltrate a largely male-populated sport, there are plenty of haters who believe Daniele doesn’t deserve to have a footprint in the fight game.

Recently, Daniele shared a post on Instagram to promote a Power Slap card going down during UFC 300 weekend. While most of the comments were flattering, one user named juxnitoe stood out as he demanded that someone, presumably Dana White, “get her out of the UFC.”

Instead of getting his wish, juxnitoe drew the wrath of the UFC CEO.

“She’s better then 100% of the media. Let’s get YOU outta here,” White wrote in response.

Nina-Marie Daniele is here to stay with you like it or not

Before invading the world of MMA, Nina-Marie Daniele was a successful model, posing for Playboy, Vogue, Michael Kors, and Victoria’s Secret Pink. She famously interviewed Khabib Nurmagomedov at his UFC Hall of Fame induction and has since built close-knit relationships with multiple of UFC’s biggest stars, namely former middleweight world champion Sean Strickland.

Since making her mark in mixed martial arts, Daniele has seen her social media presence explode with 3.8 million followers on TikTok, nearly two million on Instagram, and almost 170,000 on X.

Whether you love her or you hate her, it looks as though Daniele has received the stamp of approval from Dana White and that means she’s here to say.

And if you don’t like it, just remember that she could probably kick your ass.

MMA interviewer Nina-Marie Daniele — aka Nina Drama — has had enough of “soft” fight fans continuously harassing her online.

Days after longtime UFC play-by-play man Jon Anik voiced his displeasure over the increasingly toxic fanbase, the 35-year-old model-turned-journalist delivered a lengthy post on social media slamming “keyboard warriors living in their mom’s basement” who routinely attack her with “hate and sexual harassment.”

“In my opinion, the MMA community is one of the softest communities in all of sports! If you guys received 10% of the hate and sexual harassment I get on a daily basis I guarantee 99.9% of you wouldn’t make it on the internet,” Daniele wrote on X. “You gotta understand that I come from the fashion industry… the most brutal industry there is… so do you think a couple of keyboard warriors living in their mom’s basement could upset me?

Lmao, NO! I don’t fear the internet. I don’t turn off my comments. I DO block people but that’s a whole different story LOL. This generation is so soft! Harden up!!” (h/t Sportskeeda MMA).

Nina-Marie Daniele Takes on Mean-Spirited MMA Twitter Community

Daniele wasn’t quite done there. She also took a moment to take on the rising number of MMA Twitter influencers, those often responsible for the barrage of mean-spirited memes directed at fighters online.

“The worst type of MMA personalities are Twitter MMA influencers! Most try to get views by making fun of fighters, mean memes of fighters and the organizations,” Daniele stated. “And wonder why no one wants to work with you …. You can call me corny or cringe but you won’t catch me making mean spirited jokes or putting others down. Some of you need to do better. Y’all are unhappy and it shows

Many fans on social media came to Daniele’s defense, commending her for speaking out and her ability to ignore all the “freaks, weirdos, and creeps” online in pursuit of something she loves to do.
