Ebanie Bridges and Paige VanZant

Former IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges believes a collaboration between herself and UFC fighter turned bare-knuckle brawler Paige VanZant could break the internet.

Like VanZant, ‘The Blonde Bomber’ made a name for herself in the world of combat sports before seeing her star skyrocket through social media platforms and the popular subscription-based content site OnlyFans. Last month, Bridges surrendered her IBF title to Miyo Yoshida, but that hasn’t stopped her from seeking out new potential content partnerships. After proudly promoting Conor McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout on her torso during a recent weigh-in ceremony, Bridges is now teasing a team-up with one of the hottest names in the game, Paige VanZant.

In July, Bridges revealed that the pair were working to sort out a collaboration amid their busy schedules. “We were trying to organise it but she got really busy and I moved,” Bridges told her bustling fanbase on Instagram. “Hopefully we can get back on track because I would love to collab with Paige VanZant. That would be f*cking sexy.”

Ringing in the new year, the blonde bombshells once again teased a potential collaboration between them. After ’12 Gauge’ wowed fans with a series of stunning photos while wearing a pink maid’s outfit, Bridges heaped praise on her fellow fighter/model.

That prompted VanZant to ask her 3 million+ followers if they’d be interested in seeing her and the Australian boxer work together. She offered two options in a poll: ‘YES, I’ll die’ and ‘THAT WILL BREAK THE INTERNET’.

Bridges replied saying: “Needs to happen” – along with several suggestive eyes emojis.

Needless to say, fans of the two photogenic fighters lost their minds over the mere mention of a collaboration.

Ebanie Bridges and Paige VanZant remain as popular as ever despite recent struggles in the ring

Since walking away from the UFC in 2020, Paige VanZant has been vocal about the financial freedom she has gained as a content creator. ’12 Gauge’ previously noted that she had made more money on Instagram than she had getting punched in the face for a living.

She echoed similar sentiments during an appearance on Barstool Sports’ OnlyStans podcast where she revealed that she had made more money in 24 hours on OnlyFans than she had throughout her entire combat sports career combined.

VanZant spent seven years competing under the UFC banner, going 5-4 before trading in her four-ounce gloves for a pair of hand wraps. Signing a lucrative deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship immediately following her UFC exit, ‘PVZ’ has failed to secure a win in her first two appearances with the promotion.

Meanwhile, Bridges held the IBF bantamweight title for nearly two years, claiming the crown with a big win over Maria Cecilia Roman in March 2022 before surrendering the strap in December.

Paige VanZant revelas 2-hour horror story with USADA tester in bathroom after UFC weight cut

Paige VanZant is the latest fighter to come forward with their horror USADA story.

The break-up between the UFC and drug testing agency, USADA, was one of the biggest stories of the year. The news was met with mixed reviews, some fairly pointed out that it could open the door for more fighters using performance enhancing drugs, but several fighters have and continue to reveal their poor run-ins with USADA

The deal will officially end come January 1st 2024 so the 6 am wakeups that fighters have complained about should cease, for now.

Paige VanZant reveals frustrating USADA incident

Talking on her podcast alongside partner Austin Vanderford, VanZant counted a run-in with USADA during a difficult weight cut. The former UFC fighter claimed that whenever she would cut weight, she would become very ill.

“I was about to fight Alex Chambers in Las Vegas, Nevada,” Paige VanZant began. “And this was right when USADA got implemented in the UFC. So my drug testers show up right after weigh-ins. So I’m in my hotel room re-hydrating. Every single time I would weigh in, I would try to rehydrate, instantly sick.”

VanZant would continue, saying that while dealing with the weight-cutting-induced illness, the USADA drug tester stood by her side for two hours.

“So, part of USADA is once they see you, you cannot leave their sight, because, you know, it’s the whole anti-doping,” she continued. “Maybe you’re gonna go do something to mask the drugs or take something. I don’t even know. So, I had my drug tester in the bathroom with me for two hours, while I s— my brains out.”

VanZant last fought in the UFC since July 2020 and has not competed since her 2021 bareknuckle boxing match against Rachael Ostovich.

Paige VanZant is still determined to score her first win under the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship banner.

It’s been more than two years since the UFC standout turned BKFC brawler has knuckled up inside the squared circle. She was originally set to appear at the promotion’s London debut in August 2022, but her bout with Charisa Sigala was inexplicably pulled from the card just days away from her scheduled arrival in The Big Smoke.

“The real frustration, I guess, was the lead-up to the fight — I worked so hard,” VanZant told MMA Fighting. “I was so excited for this fight. But it was also a big accomplishment as a couple to say we got [my husband Austin Vanderford] ready for his fight. I was at his fight when I got the call that my fight got pulled. So him and I were supposed to fight days apart from each other. Just what goes into a fight camp for two people. Dieting for both of us, just the behind-the-scenes things that people don’t really understand what goes on, just getting prepared.

“For me to get the call that the fight got pulled — a fight I was so ready for, and I was so excited about. I cut all the weight early because I knew I would be traveling, I would be flying all the way to London. My dad was already in London waiting for me. It was depressing, and then trying to figure out how to get right back into a fight camp and not knowing when their next fight camp would be. We already had plans to go visit family in Alaska. It’s like, do I cancel my trip to Alaska? It was hard to figure out what to do next.”

After suffering back-to-back losses against Britain Hart and Rachael Ostovich in her first two BKFC outings, VanZant is determined to prove her worth and get back into the win column for the first time since 2019. Unfortunately, she wasn’t given that opportunity after putting in all the work.

“That’s the thing, I didn’t even get to fight,” VanZant said. “I didn’t get to prove myself. I didn’t get to go out and just do what I love. The fight camp is the struggle. You go in, you struggle, you lose weight, you work so hard and you sacrifice so much throughout your day-to-day to prepare for something, and to have it just taken away from you, it’s just frustrating.

“I did feel like there could have been things done differently. I don’t have any ill will toward BKFC. I would never speak negatively [about them], they’ve treated me extremely well. It’s just more the way it all played out was extremely frustrating.”

Paige VanZant has not closed the door on BKFC Return

VanZant has found plenty of ways to keep herself busy with her fight career in a holding pattern. Aside from making money hand over fist via OnlyFans and various social media outlets, the 29-year-old is currently overseeing the construction of her new home and recently launched a podcast with her husband and fellow fighter Austin Vanderford. ’12 Gauge’ has also dipped her toe into the world of pro wrestling, making multiple appearances for All Elite Wrestling.

Despite all of that success outside of the fight game, VanZant knows that she will inevitably be drawn back into the world of bare-knuckle boxing.

“It’s definitely bare-knuckle, and I don’t know if it’s down the road in six months, I don’t know if it’s down the road a year,” VanZant said. “I really just haven’t decided yet. I’m going to leave a lot of that up to my manager and my coaches. Just work on this time to get better and enjoy the training and not worry about signing a fight contract right away. But it’s definitely bare-knuckle.

“I love bare-knuckle boxing. I’ve now gone 10 rounds in bare-knuckle boxing and I’m searching for that victory. I’m searching for a lot of things in bare-knuckle boxing that I haven’t accomplished, and it will be with BKFC again.”

Ex-UFC Star Paige VanZant makes more money in 24 Hours on onlyFans than in Her Entire Combat Sports Career

Paige VanZant is making way more money on OnlyFans than she ever did by getting punched in the face for a living.

Becoming a professional mixed martial artist in 2012, VanZant worked her way into the UFC where she showed a great deal of promise, earning three straight wins in her first year with the promotion. However, her success was not sustainable as ’12 Gauge’ went on to lose four of her last six. Despite that, the UFC was still interested in retaining her services as her star power on social media continued to grow.

Instead, VanZant decided to gamble on herself by leaving the UFC in search of greener pastures. Shortly after, PVZ landed a lucrative deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, making her promotional debut in 2021. Since signing on the dotted line, she’s only made two appearances with the promotion, both losses.

In the time since Paige VanZant has established herself as one of the top content creators on the popular subscription-based website OnlyFans. ’12 Gauge’ is essentially making money hand over fist, so much so that she reportedly earned more in 24 hours on the site than in her entire combat sports career.

“OnlyFans has definitely been my largest source of income, I would say combined, in my fighting career,” VanZant said while speaking with Barstool Sports’ Glenny Balls on the Only Stans podcast. “I think I made more money in 24 hours on OnlyFans than I had in my entire fighting career. Combined. Yeah.”

What Started Out as some scantily clad fun, became a massive x-Rated moneymaker for paige vanZant

After six years inside the Octagon and a huge presence on Instagram, VanZant decided to give OnlyFans a shot, charging potential subscribers $9.99 per month to see her like they never have before.

“I would say when I made the switch to — there’s a lot of stuff I’ve done in my career. I’ve been really fortunate in my career,” VanZan continued. Even outside of the UFC and out of fighting has been pretty successful. I’ve worked pretty hard in other industries and trying to cross over, I guess (to) a more mainstream personality.”

Initially, VanZant’s foray into becoming an online model was fairly innocent with her offering PG-rated content through her website, but a surge in demand and popularity led her down the path of OnlyFans where she now offers up some very NSFW content to her most loyal of supporters.

“I did extremely well. It was life-changing money. I did that for about two years,” she added before noting that influx is what persuaded her to join OnlyFans. “My content started very PG, I was doing everything like Instagram, plus a little bit extra,” she added.

UFC fighter turned BKFC brawler Paige VanZant isn’t putting her combat sports career to bed just yet.

After six years and nine fights under the UFC banner, ’12 Gauge’ walked away from the promotion in search of a more lucrative offer despite her middling 5-4 record inside the Octagon. VanZant ended up getting exactly that, landing a lucrative offer with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship shortly after her departure from the Las Vegas-based promotion.

More than three years after signing on the dotted line with BKFC, she is still yet to earn her first victory inside the squared circle.

Dropping her first two fights against Britain Hart and former UFC foe Rachael Ostovich, Paige VanZant was determined to get that elusive W in bare-knuckle brawling. ’12 Gauge’ booked herself a fight with Charisa Sigala in August 2022, but days before she was set to step inside the ring, the BKFC inexplicably pulled the plug on the matchup.

BKFC founder David Feldman offered little explanation for the move, but many suspected the promotion’s ticket sales in London, where the event was emanating from, were lower than anticipated forcing them to make some cost-cutting moves ahead of fight night.

Taking to social media, Paige VanZant revealed that she was left depressed after BKFC informed her of the sudden cancellation.

“So, of course, the last fight that I was supposed to have for BKFC, the fight got pulled the week of the fight,” VanZant explained on Instagram. “I had cut all my weight, I was so excited to fight, I got mega depressed.”

“So, I took a little bit of time off and I’m back in the gym, training 100 percent now. And I feel like I’m in a really good place, where I’m training for fun and to get better. Not just to prepare for a fight” (h/t MMA Fighting).

Paige VanZant Hopes to Fight Again in the BKFC Squared Circle

With VanZant making money hand over fist online via social media and OnlyFans, many have questioned whether or not she’ll ever return to the ring.

“I want to continue, just kind of doing this, what I’m doing right now,” VanZant said. “Training to have fun, to get better and learn and then once I feel, like I’m desperate to fight — which I do really want to — but once I feel like I’m mentally and physically prepared, then I’m going to take a fight.

“I don’t want to just take a fight because I want to. I want to really feel it in my body, that I’m ready. So, it’s coming though. I am working really hard.”

With his million-dollar investment in Paige VanZant producing lackluster results thus far, BKFC President David Feldman is willing to give ’12 Gauge’ one more shot.

“I think she wants one more crack at it,” Feldman told MMA Fighting in May. “I know that I want to give her one more crack at it, so I think we’re going to have at least one more run there.”

Ex-UFC star Paige VanZant has made more money in 24 hours on OnlyFans than she did during her entire career as a professional fighter.

’12 Gauge’ has undeniably become one of combat sports’ biggest stars. Ironically, her fame reached a high point after she had largely walked away from competing. Following a middling six-year run under the UFC banner, Paige VanZant walked away from the promotion, betting on herself in the free agency market. It paid off as she bagged a big-money deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.

However, her appearances inside the squared circle have been few and far between once she realized the kind of money she could make through social media platforms and the popular subscription-based website OnlyFans.

During a recent appearance on Barstool Sports’ OnlyStans podcast, Paige VanZant revealed that she’s already made more money on OnlyFans than in her entire fight career. In fact, she eclipsed that amount within 24 hours of activating her OF account.

“I would say when I made the switch to OnlyFans…there’s a lot of stuff I’ve done in my career…I’ve been really fortunate that my career even outside of the UFC and outside of fighting has been pretty successful,” VanZant said.

“I’ve worked pretty hard in other industries and trying to crossover to like I guess more of a mainstream personality. But yes, OnlyFans has definitely been my largest source of income. I would say combined in my fighting. I think I made more money in 24 hours on OnlyFans than I had in my entire fighting career” (h/t Unilad).

Don’t Count on Seeing Paige VanZant Return to the Ring or the Cage Anytime Soon

Paige VanZant is still under contract with the BKFC, but it’s probably safe to assume that her time competing with the bare-knuckle fight group is over.

Frankly, the appeal of seeing PVZ fight has waned significantly after she went winless in her first two appearances with the promotion, leaving the BKFC hesitant to pay her the big bucks she wants. On the flip side, VanZant simply can’t justify taking the time to compete because it would only take her away from her number one source of income.

“The hard thing for me to put in perspective is with endorsements I make way more money sitting at home, posting pictures on Instagram, than I do fighting. With endorsement deals and everything I pull in from social media, I would actually be a loss just taking a fight and focusing on that,” VanZant added. “If I were to stop everything I do outside of fighting and take a fight, I would be at a loss financially.

Paige VanZant also takes issue with the pay gap between women in combat sports compared to men, citing her last round of negotiations with the BKFC.

When I did my contract negotiation the last time, the talk was, ‘I can’t pay you more than a female champion.’ Okay, but why are comparing me to just women? All of us should be getting paid more in general.”
