UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem is set to return to the cage this weekend against Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva as part of the main card for UFC 156. ‘The Reem’ has had a year to prepare for his next fight after a suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

As part of those preparations, Overreem appears to be taking a page from lightweight contender Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis who rocked the world with his ‘Showtime’ kick in his WEC title winning bout with current UFC champ Benson Henderson.

The GIF below, shows Overeem practicing the ‘Showtime’ kick at the Blackzilian camp in Florida alongside kickboxer turned mixed martial artists Tyrone Spong.

Nick and Nate Diaz posted this picture on Twitter late last night after getting into Montreal, Quebec for today’s UFC 158: St-Pierre vs. Diaz press conference which is set to begin this morning at 10am EST.

The brothers made the flight from Stockton, California which is quite the contrast from the last time Nick was supposed to show up for a press conference opposite St-Pierre.

The former Strikeforce title holder had been scheduled to face GSP at UFC 137 but missed back-to-back conferences in Toronto and Las Vegas and was subsequently pulled from the title match by UFC president Dana White.

Eventually Diaz squared off with former title holder BJ Penn while GSP pulled out due to injury.
