Alessio Sakara blood wiping gif

During last Thursday’s UFC on Versus 3 event middleweight Alessio Sakara fought UFC newcomer Chris Weidman on the nights main card. At one point in the second round, referee Gary Copeland called a halt to the action to have a cut checked on Sakara’s forehead by the cageside referee. “Legionarius” wanted to keep the fight going and simply wiped his forehead off on Copepland’s shirt during the pause. A doctor did step in to check the cut and allowed Sakara to continue, who would go on to lose a unanimous decision to Weidman.

Props to Caposa for the GIF.
