Tonight’s Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson event kicked off with the preliminary card at 7:30 PM EST (4:30PM PST), with the Showtime telecast beginning at 10PM EST for the events main card.

The Strikeforce event features two title bouts on the main card as light heavyweight champ Rafael “Feijão” Cavalcante (10-2) defends his title for the first time against former PRIDE champ Dan “Hendo” Henderson (26-8) in the main event. Women’s welterweight champion Marloes Coenen (18-4) also defends her title for the first time in the co-main event against undefeated Liz “Girl-Rilla” Carmouche (5-0).

Also featured on the Showtime broadcast are bouts between middleweights Tim Kennedy vs. Melvin Manhoef, and lightweights Billy Evangelista vs. Jorge Masvidal.

Bellator 35The opening event of Bellator Fighting Championships fourth season begins tonight with Bellator 35, which takes place at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, Calif.

The preliminary card kicked off at approx. 8PM EST (5PM PST) with the live main card broadcast beginning at 9PM EST (6PM PST) on Bellator’s new broadcast partner MTV2.

Bellator 35 features the opening round of the welterweight tournament quarterfinals with matches between tournament participants former Bellator welterweight champ Lyman “Cyborg” Good vs. Chris “The Assassin” Lozano, Jim “Judo” Wallhead vs. Rick Hawn, Anthony Lapsely vs. Jay “Thoroughbred” Hieron, and Brent Weedman vs. Dan “The Handler” Horbuckle.

Also featured on the card is a non-title bout between Bellator women’s 115 lbs champion Zoila “Warrior Princess” Frausto vs. Karina Hallinan who meet at a weight of 125 lbs.
