Today’s Ultimate Fighting Championship event, UFC 122: Marquardt vs. Okami, is taking place live at the Konig Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany.
The MMA News will provide live ‘Quick Results’ for today’s event which begins at approx. 1230PM EST (0930AM PST) with the preliminary bouts. While the live broadcast, for fans outside of the United States, begins at 3PM EST (12PM PST). Spike TV will air the event via tape-delay tonight beginning at 9PM EST (6PM PST).
Today’s event features a middleweight #1 contender bout between Nate “The Great” Marquardt (30-9-2) and Japanese opponent Yushin Okami (25-5). While the co-main event features another middleweight tilt between Jorge Rivera (18-7) and Alessio Sakara (15-7).
We’ll be keeping the spoilers off the main page for today’s event, especially with the Spike TV tape-delay broadcast tonight.
**Breaking News**
MMAjunkie.com has confirmed with UFC officials that an illness has forced Alessio Sakara out of his co-main-event bout with Jorge Rivera. The fight has been scrapped from tonight’s card. Ludwig vs. Osipczak has been promoted to the main card.
