The latest Ultimate Fighting Championship event, UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez, takes place this evening at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Headlining the event will be a heavyweight title bout between UFC champion Brock Lesnar and top contender Cain Velasquez. The co-main event sees a welterweight match between Martin Kampmann and former Strikeforce middleweight champ Jake Shields, who makes his UFC debut.
The action kicks off at about 7:30PM EST (4:30PM PST) with the preliminary card, while the live pay-per-view begins at 10PM EST (7PM PST).
Spike TV will carry two prelim bouts live on television beginning at 9PM EST (6PM PST). The “UFC Prelims” special features two middleweight bouts between former #1 contender Patrick Côté vs. Tom Lawlor, and TUF 12 winner Court McGee vs. Ryan Jensen.
The MMA News will keep the ‘Live Quick Results’ off the main page to prevent any spoilers for tonight’s pay-per-view.

MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (Oct. 22, 2010) – On a night of rear naked chokes, Joe Dechaves (4-3-0) gained revenge against Luis “Rockstar” Felix, winning a three-round split decision in tonight’s main event in the Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino.
In their first fight, Felix (5-6-0) won by a first-round technical decision, setting up a potential third fight. Dechaves won this evening on the judges’ scorecards by scores of 30-27, 29-28, 27-30.
In the co-feature, lightweight Lionel Young (4-4-0) locked in a rear naked choke, forcing Andrew Caron (5-3-0) to tap-out in the first round.
Bantamweight Blair Tugman (5-3-0) needed only 46 seconds to make Todd Sweeney tap-out by way of a rear naked choke.
In a battle of unbeaten light heavyweights, Mike Mucitelli(5-0-0) kept his perfect record intact by defeating Steve Skrzat (4-1-0), when the commission doctor halted the action after one round due to a deep cut under Skrzat’s left eye.
Middleweight Jeff “Scary Nickname” Nader (4-2-0) unloaded a barrage of unanswered strikes on Dustin Bakerto earn a first-round victory by technical knockout.
Welterweight Jimmy Davidson won his pro debut, forcing Mark Skelcher to tap-out via a rear naked choke at 1:47 of the opening round.

The eleventh Strikeforce Challengers (ShoMMA) show featured a welterweight rematch between undefeated Roger Bowling (8-0) and veteran “Vicious” Bobby Voelker (22-8). Their first bout took place last May at Strikeforce Challengers 8, ending with a Technical-Decision win for Bowling after he accidentally poked Voelker in the eye leaving him unable to continue.
The co-main event saw a 165 pound catchweight bout between Billy Evangelista and Waachiim Spiritwolf.
