The MMA News joins the “Strikeforce: Los Angeles” card with the action already underway (blame evening highway repairs) from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The preliminary card began at approximately 10 PM EST (7 PM PST) and the live Showtime broadcast card kicked off at 11 PM EST (8 PM PST).
Tonight’s show is headlined by a 195 pound catchweight fight between former Strikeforce light-heavyweight champ Renato “Babalu” Sobral, who steps into the cage for the first time since losing his title, against come-back-King Robbie Lawler.
