Sean Strickland slams Joe Rogan over Sneako sparring session

Sean Strickland snapped back at Joe Rogan after the longtime UFC commentator criticized his viral sparring session with a well-known streamer.

Ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, footage of Strickland putting an absolute beating on Sneako — a popular content creator on Rumble — emerged online. The clip was immediately met with a mixed reaction. Some laughed. Some dubbed Sean Strickland a bully. In the case of Joe Rogan, the popular podcaster insisted that it was not a good look for Strickland, a former middleweight world champion, to take liberties with an untrained kid half his size.

“He beat up that kid who’s smaller than him,” Rogan said during an episode of JRE. “A streamer named Sneako, which is not a good look. He beat the sh*t out of that guy. I just don’t know why he wanted to do that. It’s so easy for him to beat that guy up. It’s not fair.”

Rogan’s reaction prompted Strickland to issue a fiery video response on Instagram.

“I didnt pick a fight, he wanted it,” Strickland wrote in the caption. “They don’t get it…. Everyone liked the video. These people spend more money than you make in a year on drs and injections just trying to live forever… They’re so out of touch… It bothers them that I interact with you guys in the world… You hear these people talk about trying to live forever and you start thinking maybe lizard people are real…… I can go on forever why they don’t understand and never will…”

Sean Strickland wasn’t the only one to put a beating on Sneako

Whether or not you feel Strickland was a little too rough on Sneako, it’s clear that the kid didn’t learn his lesson. Days later, he was spotted online getting his ass handed to him by No. 1 ranked bantamweight contender Merab Dvalishvili.

UFC champ Sean O’Malley was not cool with Sean Strickland’s treatment of Sneako: ‘He was trying to hurt him’

Sean O'Malley

Sean O’Malley was not a fan of the liberties Sean Strickland took with Sneako during their early-morning sparring session last week.

Ahead of Super Bowl weekend, footage emerged online of the former middleweight world champion bloodying the controversial Rumble streamer during an intense interaction at a Las Vegas gym. In the video — which you can see right here — Strickland repeatedly blasts the influencer with strikes long after Sneako’s corner threw in the towel.

In the end, it was UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin who stepped in and physically stopped Strickland from continuing the onslaught.

Sharing his take on the incident during a recent episode of his TimboSugarShow podcast with longtime coach Tim Welch, O’Malley slammed Strickland for clearly trying to hurt Sneako long after it became clear that he had given himself up.

“I thought it was f*cked up,” O’Malley said. “His corner threw in the towel. If someone came in here and wanted me to f*cking peck around with him because I’m a professional champ and they want to get a little taste of what it’s like, I’m not gonna — did you see how hard he was trying to hurt him?

“I’m a professional fighter, he’s a professional fighter — they threw in the towel, he clearly quit, he clearly was balling up and [Strickland] was still trying to hurt him. I don’t know [if it was good for Sneako].”

However, Sean O’Malley does believe there is one exception that could justify Strickland’s battering of Sneako.

“I’ve never liked hurting people,” O’Malley said. “If Sneako was talking sh*t at all then it 100 percent changes it. If someone is talking sh*t then they want to come in and want to spar and I agree then it’s different. It depends if Sneako was talking sh*t acting like he could do something then it makes it 100 percent okay to whoop his ass a little bit.”

‘Sugar’ is scheduled to make his first bantamweight title defense on Saturday, March 9 when he runs back his 2020 clash with Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera at UFC 299 in Miami. Vera is the only fighter to hold a victory over O’Malley inside the Octagon.

Nate Diaz used a homophonic slur to describe ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci.

Recently, the former UFC star spent some time sparring and training alongside controversial Rumble streamer Sneako. Their pairing came only a few short days removed from a viral sparring session that saw Sneako take an absolute beating from former middleweight titleholder Sean Strickland ahead of Super Bowl weekend.

Before mixing it up with Strickland and Diaz, Sneako drew the ire of Musumeci after the influencer suggested that “jiu-jitsu is for autistic people” and added that the five-time IBJJF world champion “shouldn’t be winning,” referring to Musumeci’s unassuming appearance.

Musumeci was quick to come to the defense of his sport, offering to face Sneako in an MMA fight.

Speaking of the situation while training with Sneako, Nate Diaz delivered his scathing take on Musumeci’s challenge and referred to the ONE Championship fighter in a most unsavory way.

That other little b*tch jiu-jitsu guy,” Diaz said. “F*ck that little f*ggot. I kind of forgot about him when I saw that, but I didn’t even give him no attention. F*ck that little b*tch.

Mikey Musumeci Responds to Nate Diaz’s Vile Comments

Getting wind of Diaz’s comments, Mikey Musumeci delivered a dignified response to the ‘Stockton Samurai,’ suggesting that they step on the mats for a friendly contest between two accomplished BJJ black belts.

“Wow, so I just learned from my video that Nate Diaz called me out, and in no way am I calling him out right now, this is just me responding to that video,” Musumeci said in a video posted on his Instagram. “The first thing I’ll say is I’ve always been a huge fan of watching Nick and Nate Diaz in MMA, they’re absolute legends. Amazing grappling, amazing striking, and they’re about that life.

“Obviously, I can’t fight Nate in an MMA fight. He would kill me, but I would absolutely accept a grappling match with him since we’re both black belts in jiu-jitsu. It would be an absolute honor to have the opportunity to face such a legend like Nate. A once in a lifetime opportunity, right? I don’t care about weight class or anything, I would be a hundred percent down to grapple with him” (h/t Sportskeeda).

Nate Diaz and Sneako

After getting pummeled by Sean Strickland last week, Sneako spent some time sparring with ex-UFC superstar Nate Diaz.

The controversial Rumble streamer found himself the subject of many a headline on Friday after footage emerged of him being bloodied and battered by the former UFC middleweight champion during an early morning gym session. In the clip which you can see right here Strickland delivers an onslaught of strikes long after Sneako’s corner throws in the towel.

UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin had to physically step in and stop Strickland from continuing the assault.

“When you spar these guys that want to spar, there is no respect,” Strickland said on his YouTube channel. “You haven’t earned it. You haven’t like proved yourself. You don’t deserve not to get hurt. If Forrest hadn’t jumped in, I would’ve took your life if I could’ve.”

Days later, Sneako decided to test his skills against another combat sports star Nate Diaz.

Sneako spent some time talking with Diaz about his iconic run in the UFC and how the TUF alumnus maintains his signature cardio despite regularly smoking cannabis.

They spent some time rolling on the mats.

Diaz even revealed the origin of his infamous ‘Stockton Slap.’

But when it came time to step inside the ring, Nate Diaz had no interest in leaving the cameras on.

Nate Diaz gives a glowing review of Sneako

After their session was said and done, Diaz had nothing, but positive things to say about Sneako’s skills. However, we have a sneaking suspicion that the lightweight superstar was just trying to be nice.

Sean Stricklanda and Jake Paul

Jake Paul thinks Sean Strickland is a bully. And ‘The Problem Child’ doesn’t like bullies.

On Friday, the former middleweight world champion made headlines once again after footage emerged of him putting a beating on popular Rumble streamer Sneako. The two had met a month prior at an event and Strickland reportedly invited him to hit the gym and go a few rounds.

Once Strickland had Sneako locked inside a cage, all the pleasantries were out the door.

Strickland bloodied and battered the kid, prompting many people within the MMA community to offer Strickland a round of applause. However, not everybody was amused. Jake Paul took to social media and slammed ‘Tarzan’ for going hard on a kid with little to no experience.

Paul then offered to fly Strickland out to Puerto Rico so they could have their own hard sparring session in front of cameras.

“Shawn Strickland you’re embarrassing for trying to stop sneako like that you weren’t even able to drop someone with no experience while going all out,” Paul wrote on X in response to the clip.

“You’re a horrid boxer that only picks on inexperienced people.. I’ll fly you to PR and we can fight on camera… if you win I’ll give you $1 million (half your net worth) But if you get dropped you have to get Betr tattooed on you. DM me. But just like paddy I’m guessing you’ll find a way to run.”

‘The Problem Child’ followed up his initial post with another, labeling Strickland as a bully.

“I hate bullies,” Paul added. “I was bullied and then was the bully sometimes in my YouTuber days. But now all my energy is focused on Boxing Bullies @Boxingbullies and helping the youth. But when I see someone like Strickland constantly bullying people, it’s time to bully back.”

Of course, it didn’t take long for Sean Strickland to snap back at Paul, making light of the YouTuber’s loss to Tommy Fury last year.

“You lost to a part time boxer….. lmao……… don’t forget that,” Strickland wrote.

Sean Strickland didn’t stop there

The ex-champ was far from done, laying into Jake Paul in a series of expletive-filled posts and expressing his desire to take the boxer’s life.

“Real talk… jokes aside.. Jake Paul is an utter fucking joke,” Strickland added. “You box small retired old mma fighters and you sell sugar water to kids.. If it were legal I’d take your fucking life with a smile on my face. Is there any place on this earth I can take this man’s life and walk?

“Actually Jake I’ll make you a better deal because money can’t buy happiness and you have plenty of it and youre still a cunt……. No cameras, me and you in a desert…. That would buy my happiness… No Instagram, no likes, no games…. Just you that’s what I want…….

“I want to conclude this, I want you all to understand the phenomenon that is Jake. You’re a professional troll, you fight retired small MMA fighters because you’re a troll but the worst part of it all is that you’re a cancer. You inspire people to accomplish nothing, to be nothing. You inspire people to be trolls because you were successful at it. Jake Paul you might be rich but you’re not man, you byproduct of society that has fallen. Your trolls will rally around you and be inspired to be like you but understand one thing, you and your troll army are not my equals. Enjoy your virtual world with the understanding that you’re a cancer on this country. Money will never buy you dignity. Enjoy.

Sean Strickland batters and bloodies controversial Rumble streamer Sneako during sparring session

Sean Strickland sparring Sneako

Sorry, Mikey Musumeci. If you want to get your hands on Sneako, you’ll have to get behind Sean Strickland.

Last month, the often controversial Rumble streamer had an awkward interaction with Strickland after he asked the former middleweight world champion for some words of wisdom. “The majority of influencers are c*nts,” Strickland quipped. Strickland’s disdain for social media stars aside, the interaction was fairly pleasant.

That was not the case when Sneako foolishly accepted an invite to spar with Strickland. Showing up to the gym early Friday morning, they both strapped on a pair of boxing gloves and stepped inside the cage for a couple of rounds.

It went pretty much how you’d expect.

Sneako rubbed a lot of fight fans the wrong way when he crassly commented that “jiu-jitsu is for autistic people.” The comment came while watching a clip of ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci earning a finish against Japanese MMA icon Shinya Aoki at a ONE Championship event in October. “He shouldn’t be winning,” Sneako added, referring to Musumeci’s unassuming appearance.

Musumeci took exception to the comments and called for a fight with Sneako. “There’s this guy named Sneako, making fun of me, making fun of my friend, making fun of jiu-jitsu,” Musumeci said on social media. “He calls himself a boxer, I’m a jiu-jitsu guy. Let’s have an MMA fight.

Obviously, Sneako would never agree to a legitimate fight with a five-time IBJJF world champion, but it is nice to see that an MMA fighter was able to get their hands on the obnoxious internet personality and bloody him up a bit.
