It’s safe to say that UFC lightweight prospect Paddy Pimblett isn’t the biggest fan of Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar…

In the UFC right now, there aren’t many more fan-friendly fighters than Pimblett. From the Liverpool native’s interactions with his supporters on social media to his willingness to engage with them in person, “The Baddy” is clearly more than happy to give up some time for those who back his journey in mixed martial arts.

That was on full display at UFC 274, where Pimblett and teammate Molly McCann were in attendance. As well as their usual antics in the fighters’ section, much to the displeasure of UFC middleweight Jared Cannonier, a number of fans have since posted images alongside the pair in the arena.

As it turns out, Pimblett’s positive and welcoming attitude to the MMA fanbase derives from some UFC fan-related childhood trauma courtesy of one “American Psycho.”

During a media scrum at UFC 274, Pimblett narrated the story of when his efforts to take a picture with Bonnar, whose place in UFC history was immortalized by his memorable fight with Forest Griffin, were quickly snubbed by the former light heavyweight fighter.

“I remember when I was kid, when they did the first-ever UFC Fan Expo in London, and I asked Stephan Bonnar for a picture and he walked away,” recalled Pimblett. “He said, ‘I haven’t got time,’ and walked away. And I’ve never forgot it. So eat shit, Stephan Bonnar. Eat shit, lad.”

With that rejection in mind, Pimblett knows how he’d respond should the tables turn down the line.

“I’m too busy, lad, stick it up your hoop.”

Bonnar was most recently in the news after a devastating house fire burned down his Nevada home earlier this year, leading to the loss of many of their possessions, as well as their cat. In the aftermath, the likes of Tyron Woodley and Chael Sonnen donated to help Bonnar and his family.

But one man he won’t be getting any sympathy from is “The Baddy.”

“That’s karma, motherfucker,” joked Pimblett.

Pimblett appears to be gearing up to face Ottman Azaitar at UFC London in July. With another appearance in front of a home crowd likely, the Liverpudlian’s fan-endearing personality will no doubt be on display again.

How should fighters react to fans asking for pictures and autographs in public?

Stephan Bonnar is not in a good place going by his recent videos.

On Saturday, the UFC Hall of Famer shared footage of him confronting not only hospital authorities but the police as well in an aggressive manner.

The first video showed him confronting Henderson Hospital Emergency Ward staff for refusing to treat him for what he claims to be a fractured vertebrae injury suffered during a pro wrestling match.

The reason? For recently being prescribed Oxycodone which is seemingly preventing him from getting his desired 7.5mg Norcos medicine.

Police were later called to the scene and Bonnar kept recording as he shouted at them in a second video.

“I’m coming to get treatment for a fractured vertebrae,” Bonnar yelled at a cop (via MMA Mania). “I can’t sit, dumbf—k, my back’s broken! Stephan Bonnar, I’m a UFC Hall of Famer. I don’t have my license on me or my debit card. You know why? Because the pharmacist at CVS forgot to give it back to me. You know when? When she was telling me I couldn’t get my 7.5mg Norcos because, guess why, I recently had 10mg Oxys filled.

“So they could only give me Tramadol. The Tramadol is awful, it doesn’t work. And the Oxycodone 10mgs are all gone. So I came to the emergency room finally after suffering with a fractured lumbar vertebrae, doctor, for a week!”

Former UFC fighters in Diego Sanchez and Mark Coleman offered support in what could only be described as a meltdown for Bonnar.

Hopefully, Bonnar gets the medicine and treatment that he needs.

UFC Hall Of Famer Stephan Bonnar was arrested for suspicion of DUI earlier this week.

Bonnar was reportedly driving like a “maniac” down I-15 in a red Cadillac CTS. It was said the former The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) finalist was driving north of 90 MPH at around 1:15 P.M. in Las Vegas. Several citizens assisted highway patrol in detaining Bonnar, who was said to be resisting arrest. Bonnar was described as being “incoherent” when confronted by authorities.

It was said that he reeked of alcohol and had an empty bottle of vodka in his car. Police also found an AR15 rifle and a pill bottle for prescription pain reliever Celecoxib. Now, several days removed from the incident, body cam footage has been released showing Bonnar’s arrest. When approached, Bonnar looks passed out in the driver’s seat of his car.

When the officer begins to drag him out, he slowly begins to regain consciousness. Bonnar is then dragged on the floor and handcuffed, however, when the officer finds it difficult to cuff Bonnar, several citizens assist him.

Check out the disturbing video right here:

After being cuffed, Bonnar was described as being “energetic,” spasming, and resisting officers’ authority. Bonnar was subsequently booked on a third-degree DUI charge, resisting arrest, and unsafe driving.
