As we’ve all heard by now, Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury is a done deal for an event to go down next month on February 26, 2023, live in Saudi Arabia.

This is the third time these two have been booked opposing one another, as they were supposed to fight in 2021 and 2022, with Fury pulling out of the bout both times. But, now that they’ve signed another bout agreement to fight one another, February 26 has become a highly anticipated night in the sport of boxing.

Paul and Fury had a few words for one another tonight at the Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde event at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England.

Fury opened up with: “I guarantee, I swear to god if it’s the last thing I do in boxing, you are over in four weeks. So enjoy the last few weeks of the so called boxer yeah. When I hit you on the chin, you’re gonna stay hit, believe me.”

Paul was then asked who has more to lose regarding this fight, and answered with: “Tommy has so much to lose his family is going to disown him when I knock him the fuck out. Plain and simple, that’s it. Sorry Tyson I love you but it’s over for your brother.”

That’s quite comical, considering Tyson said he’d disown his little brother if he didn’t ‘chin’ Jake Paul.

It looks like Fury is ready to fight, which is good, hopefully it means the fight will go through as planned this time.

If it does indeed happen this time around, who walks away the victor, Jake Paul or Tommy Fury?

YouTube star turned professional boxer Jake Paul has for the third time signed a bout agreement opposing WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s little brother, Tommy Fury, with the bout slated to go down from Saudi Arabia on February 26, 2023.

These two were expected to meet in both 2021 and 2022, Fury withdrawing from the contest both times. However, it’s just been made official once again, and it’s quickly become a highly anticipated night in the sport of boxing.

Paul just recently inked a deal with mixed martial arts promotion PFL as well, and is expected to compete in their new superfight division this year in 2023, but he has to take care of one more name in the boxing ring first.

What’s more, the price of this pay-per-view event is set at just $49.99, which is a far cry from other boxing PPV’s, and even the UFC’s PPV’s, with the price nearly cut in half.

There have been a number of Twitter account holders that expressed their interest in buying it, considering what a steal it is:

Jake Paul has made it to 6-0 with four knockouts thus far into his professional boxing career, 7-0 with five knockouts if you count his lone amateur win, while Fury has gone 8-0 thus far as a pro, securing four knockouts in that time.

Jake Paul Tommy Fury Fight

Reports emerged earlier this month detailing how a third attempted fight between undefeated punchers, Jake Paul, and Tommy Fury was in the works for a potential February 25. event. And this Friday morning, an eight round, middleweight matchup between the duo has been confirmed to take place on February 26. in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As per an initial report from Ariel Helwani, Jake Paul, who boasts an undefeated 6-0 professional record, will tackle Tommy Fury, who himself holds an unbeaten 8-0 record, on February 26. in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury official for February 26. in the Middle East

“Finally official,” Helwani tweeted accompanied by a poster for the bout. “Sunday, Feb. 26. On ESPN+ PPV in the US, on BT Sport Box Office in the UK.”

Previously, Paul was scheduled to fight Fury back in December 2021 first, however, the latter, a former reality television star on Love Island, was forced to withdraw from the bout citing an injury.

Rescheduled for an August pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden last year, Fury and his team were denied travel to the United States for the event due to his half-brother, WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury’s association with reputed drugs baron, Daniel Kinahan.

Last time out, Paul managed to land his sixth consecutive professional victory with a unanimous decision win over former undisputed UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva in Glendale, Arizona last October.

As for Fury, the Manchester native most recently made his squared circle return beneath his half-brother, Tyson’s knockout win over Dillian Whyte back in April of last year, beating Daniel Bocianski on points.
Reacting to the confirmation of his bout with Fury, Paul claimed he would be travelling to the United Kingdom tomorrow to confront Tommy, Tyson, and their father, John Fury.

“Tommy (Fury) has no excuses now… Baby’s born,” Jake Paul tweeted. “Money’s massive. Immigration no issue. Tyson (Fury) promises he & papa (John Fury) will make Tommy retire from boxing & change his last name if he can’t beat the YouTuber. Tmw (Tomorrow) I’m coming to London to look at all 3 Fury’s in the eye & shake on that promise.”

Tyson Fury Claims Tommy Fury Can Stay In Saudi Arabia If He Doesn’t ‘Chin’ Jake Paul

As most of us have heard by now, Jake Paul is once again expected to face Tommy Fury after their previous two fight bookings never ended up happening.

Hopefully the third time will be the charm? They are slated for a showdown next month on February 25, and the older brother of Tommy, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has chimed in on what he expects out of Tommy going into the bout.

Michael Benson posted the following to his Twitter account from an interview Tyson Fury did with TalkSport:

“It’s gonna be fun and I expect Tommy to chin him (knock Paul out). And if he doesn’t, he can stay in Saudi Arabia.”

Fury vs Paul is intended to go down in Saudi Arabia, more or less meaning Tyson will disown his little brother for losing to someone like Paul, which is rather comical.

Paul has gone 6-0 thus far into his professional boxing career, securing four knockouts in that time, while Fury has gone 8-0, also with four knockouts thus far into his young career. We though we were past this point the last time Tommy withdrew from a fight with Paul back in December of 2021, where Paul ended up fighting Tyron Woodley for the second time, but here we are again.

Do you think Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury goes down as planned? If so, who wins?
