Marc Diakiese (12-1) suffered his first loss courtesy of Drakkar Klose (8-0-1).

A leg kick from Klose opened up the contest. He ducked a punch and scored a takedown. Diakiese got back to his feet with his back pressed against the fence. Diakiese got a takedown of his own. He took his opponent down again. Klose got up, but Diakiese held on .

The two scrambled on the ground and Diakiese gained control in the clinch. They broke off and Diakiese went down from a leg kick. Klose landed knees to the body. Diakiese wound up in top control until the horn sounded.

Diakiese fought off a takedown and the two returned to the center of the Octagon. He was taken down off a kick, but he got back up quickly. Time was called when Diakiese kneed Klose below the belt. Time resumed and the two engaged in a clinch. Diakiese threw a jumping knee and thwarted a takedown attempt. Diakiese had trouble staying on his feet, but he wasn’t rocked.

A switch kick connected for Diakiese at the start of the final round. Diakiese held onto his opponent near the fence and went for a head kick on the break. Klose went for a takedown and Diakiese dropped down for a guillotine choke. Nothing doing and they separated. The final horn sounded with both men in the clinch.

Klose earned a split decision victory and was amped up after the bout.

Final Result: Drakkar Klose def. Marc Diakiese via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

It’s once again fight day here at LowKickMMA, and the talent on display tonight (Saturday, July 7, 2017) will come from in the form of TUF 25 Finale. Headlining the card are Michael Johnson and Justin Gaethje, but there’s a whole bunch of great fights also taking place on the preliminary section of the card.

Angela Hill vs. Ashley Yoder in a strawweight bout closes the preliminary card on FOX Sports 1.

Tom Gallicchio vs. James Krause is next in a welterweight bout.

Ed Herman vs. C.B. Dollaway is next in a middleweight bout.

Juliana Lima vs. Tecia Torres in a strawweight bout in a female bantamweight bout opens the FOX Sports 1 preliminary bouts.

The only bout on the UFC Fight Pass prelims is Gray Maynard vs. Teruto Ishihara in a featherweight bout.

A women’s bantamweight bout has been scrapped from tonight’s (July 7, 2017) The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 25 Finale from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the last minute.

Jessica Eye’s fight against the debuting Aspen Ladd is off, as ‘Evil’ revealed on her official Instagram page:

The UFC confirmed the bout’s calling off, describing the reason as an illness for Ladd that most likely had something to do with cutting weight.

Eye vs. Ladd was supposed to open the FOX Sports 1 preliminary card beginning at 7 p.m. ET, but now Tecia Torres vs. Juliana Lima at women’s strawweight will move up to that prelimnary card from the Fight Pass prelims.

TUF 25 Finale is here, and it goes down tonight (Friday, July 7th) from the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The prelims will air on UFC Fight Pass at 6PM/3PM ETPT and FOX Sports 1 at  7PM/4PM ETPT. Six bouts will take place on the main card on FOX Sports 1 at 9PM/6PM ETPT.

The event will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Michael Johnson and former WSOF Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje. Dhiego Lima vs. Jesse Taylor will serve as the co-main event. Rounding out the main card is Marc Diakiese vs. Drakkar Klose in a lightweight bout, Elias Theodorou vs. Brad Tavares in a middleweight bout, and Marcel Fortuna vs. Jordan Johnson in a light heavyweight bout.

According to oddsmakers, Johnson is a -165 favorite over  Gaethje, who is a +145 underdog. Other odds for the main card include Lima being a +165 underdog against Taylor, who is a -205 favorite. Here are the betting odds:
