Tyson Fury continues to add fuel to the fire on a potential mixed martial arts (MMA) career.

Fury recently trained with top-ranked UFC middleweight Darren Till. He has caught the attention of UFC heavyweights Stipe Miocic, Francis Ngannou, Greg Hardy, and more, all of which willing to welcome him to the UFC.

“The Gypsy King” had previously teased a training session with UFC star Conor McGregor. Speaking to RTE Radio 1, Fury doubled down on the claim, saying he plans on linking up with the Irishman soon.

“I’m looking forward to coming to train with Conor. We’re going to get it all planned in and I should be over in Dublin quite soon,” Fury said. “I think Conor is an absolutely fantastic fighting man. He has offered to train me if I ever want to go into MMA.

“What better trainer could I have than the Notorious Conor McGregor? I’m looking forward to coming to train with Conor. We’re going to get it all planned in and I should be over in Dublin quite soon.

Fury then suggested he fully intends to transition into MMA once his boxing career has come to a stop.

“I’ll definitely be coming over for a training session, that is for sure. I have been MMA training in the last week with Darren Till in Liverpool,” Fury said.

“I really enjoy the new challenge. I don’t know where or when [I’ll move into MMA] because after I finish my boxing career I fancy my hand at MMA as well.”

Do you think McGregor is the right choice to train Fury for a career in MMA?

There has been a lot of interest from many of the UFC’s heavyweights in fighting Tyson Fury. Fury, the lineal heavyweight champion in boxing, has teased a crossover to mixed martial arts (MMA).

“The Gypsy King” even recently underwent a training session with top-ranked middleweight Darren Till. However, Fury was recently asked about potentially boxing UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, who has expressed interest in stepping into the ring with Fury.

Speaking in an interview recently, Fury said he’s down to box the UFC heavyweight champion, saying it could be a big crossover fight similar to that of Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor.

“Stipe says he wants to box me, that would be a good fight for sure. After I get Wilder out of the way I’ll fight Stipe in a boxing match if he wants it,” Fury said.

“It would be a big crossover fight like Mayweather and McGregor. I’m open to that fight so he should come and see me. It would be the same outcome for any of them, they’ll all get smashed.”

Now, Miocic has taken to Twitter to send Fury another, very brief, message.

“let’s dance”

Lineal boxing heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is aware of Stipe Miocic’s desire to box him.

Much has been made about Fury saying he wants to dabble in the world of MMA. “The Gypsy King” said he was speaking with Conor McGregor about training for a potential MMA run. Fury took things one step further by actually training with UFC middleweight Darren Till.

Tyson Fury Accepts Stipe Miocic’s Challenge

While Fury has expressed interest in competing in MMA, UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic actually wants to box Fury. “The Gypsy King” issued a statement through MTK Global.

“Stipe says he wants to box me, that would be a good fight for sure. After I get Wilder out of the way I’ll fight Stipe in a boxing match if he wants it. It would be a big crossover fight like Mayweather and McGregor.

“I’m open to that fight so he should come and see me. It would be the same outcome for any of them, they’ll all get smashed.

“It was exciting training with Darren Till and we get on like a house on fire, he put me through a hard training session and it was really good.”

Fury is scheduled to have a rematch with Deontay Wilder in early 2020. Wilder must first take care of business in his second matchup with Luis Ortiz on Nov. 23. As for Miocic, UFC president Dana White has said the promotion is looking to book the trilogy bout between Miocic and Daniel Cormier once the heavyweight champion fully heals.

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is greatly interested in fighting boxing lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

Fury has been teasing a run in the mixed martial arts (MMA) cage for some time now, even doing a training session with top-ranked UFC middleweight Darren Till.

Now, after catching the eye of Miocic, the UFC heavyweight king said he’s interested in fighting Fury – even in boxing. In fact, that fight interests him more than a potential trilogy with Daniel Cormier does.

“Maybe, maybe not. I don’t know,” Miocic said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on Monday when asked if he though Fury was serious. “Good for him. But if he wants to step in the Octagon, I’d love it. I’ll step in the ring. I would love to box him. I would love to box him. He’s a great fighter. He’s a good dude, I think we’d put on a good show.”

Fury got the opportunity to respond to Miocic’s comments in an interview with MTK Global, his management firm. Fury noted he’s open to boxing Miocic after he faces Deontay Wilder next year. “The Gypsy King” believes it could be a massive combat sporting event similar to that of Mayweather vs. McGregor.

Fury also touched on his training session with Darren Till, noting his fellow countryman put him through a tough workout, and said they got along great.

“It was exciting training with Darren Till and we get on like a house on fire, he put me through a hard training session and it was really good,” Fury said.

Do you think the UFC would allow Miocic to box Fury?

Tyson Fury’s Father Blasts Dana White, Challenges Him To Fight

It looks like boxing lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury, didn’t appreciate UFC president Dana White’s recent comments about Tyson potentially fighting in mixed martial arts (MMA).

Fury has been doubling down on potentially fighting in the UFC, even training with top-ranked middleweight Darren Till. Fury has also been teasing a fight with the likes of Francis Ngannou.

However, White did an interview with TMZ recently, expressing confusion for Fury’s MMA aspirations, asking why he would want to come and get “smashed” by the UFC’s top heavyweights rather than stay in boxing where he can dominate.

“Tyson Fury had a tough time in his last fight in a boxing match. Coming over to MMA is a whole ‘nother story,” White told TMZ recently. “… Listen, anything’s possible. If Tyson Fury wants to fight in MMA, I’ve got a ton of guys that would love to fight him.

“I just don’t know why. I can’t wrap my head around why. …He’s an incredible fighter. Promoted the right way, [he] could be a part of three or four of the biggest fights in heavyweight [boxing] history.

“Why come over here and get smashed when you could stay there? Tyson Fury, your time is now. You’re the man in boxing. You’re one of the top four guys in the world in boxing. Why even think of coming over here?”

This didn’t sit well with John Fury, Tyson’s father, who told iFL TV that White needs to keep his son’s name out of his mouth, and even challenged White to a fight. (H/T BJPenn.com)

“How does he know about smashing anybody when Tyson comes from a smashing family, you know what I’m saying? When I can probably smash Dana White with one punch, you know what I’m saying? So how can he write my son off like that? You can’t write a man off with Tyson’s ability or heart or will to win, and he knows that. He’s talking stupid,” John Fury said.

“Let him talk to me like that. I’ll fight him,” Fury added. “Match me up with him tonight, you know what I’m saying? Because I believe I’m the best 54-year-old man in the world. I’m the fittest, I know that, and I’m the best 54-year-old man on the planet. I’m going to prove it anytime, anywhere, for free or for money. So let him take that in your pipe and smoke it. I mean that, mate. Keep my son’s name out of your mouth. If it’s not good, don’t talk about him.”

What do you think about Mr. Fury challenging White to a fight?
