UFC bantamweight Kayla Harrison expresses interest in fighting on UFC 303 in June.
This past weekend Harrison made a successful debut in the UFC, completely dominating former champion Holly Holm. The fight would also mark the former Olympic gold medallist’s first at the bantamweight limit.
Prior the bout, there had been real concerns around if Harrison would be able to make the weight as she has spent the majority of her career campaigning at lightweight. However, a very depleted Kayla Harrison would make her way to the scale and successfully make the 136lb limit for her bout against Holm.
After building a solid name for herself competing in the PFL, the win puts Harrison in a great position at the beginning of her UFC career and will likely be in a big fight next.
Kayla Harrison eyes UFC 303 return, Julianna Peña title fight
Speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Harrison even stated her willingness to make a quick turnaround, something which analysts had debated due to her likely needing time to do a healthy weight cut.
“I heard that ‘Rocky’s’ hurt all of the sudden, so if she can’t fight right now, I’m happy to fight whoever, this summer, for a title,” Harrison said. “Why not just an interim title? Then I’ll unify it, then I’ll fight Amanda. If it’s for a title, I will make myself available [for June 29]. I would love [UFC 303]. F—k it, my time is now. I like the sound of [Harrison vs. Pena]. There would be some good sh*t talking from me.”

Renato Moicano extended his streak to three in a row with a big win over Jalin Turner at UFC 300.
Moicano walked into his UFC 300 prelim bout as a moderate underdog, sitting at +200 against the heavily favored Turner. The oddsmakers were nearly proven right after Turner blasted Moicano with a nasty right hook that sent ‘Money’ crashing to the canvas. But instead of going in for the kill, Turner turned his back and walked away, believing Moicano was done.
Taking the microphone following his finish, Renato Moicano offered fans a word of advice on how to save their country from a looming economic crisis.
“I love private property, and let me tell you something,” Moicano said to the live crowd. “If you care about your f*cking country, read Ludwig Von Mises and the 6 lessons of the Austrian Economic School, motherf*ckers!”
For those unfamiliar, Ludwig von Mises was a prominent economist and one of the major figures in the Austrian School of Economics. You can learn more about that here.
Bit-Coin Rapid Fire podcast host John Vallis shared a clip of Moicano’s post-fight comment which then got the attention of Canadian psychologist and media commentator Jordan B. Peterson who remarked, “This is unspeakably great.”
“What a world,” Peterson added. “The satirists are Christian; the left shills for Big Pharma; and the deadly boxers have become profound economic philosophers.”
Renato Moicano Responds to Jordan Peterson’s praise
Getting wind of Peterson’s comments, Moicano showed his appreciation for the kind words from such a well-respected educator, writing:
“I can not believe Jordan Peterson the man himself retweeted this!!! Thank you so much doctor Peterson,” Moicano wrote. He followed that up with another post adding,”What a fucking world.”
Moicano has seen his popularity rise over the last year after delivering a series of viral post-fight speeches. Following his win over Brad Riddell, Moicano called for more money. When he decisioned Drew Dober, he expressed his love for the United States and voiced his desire to become an American citizen.

After the events of UFC 300, Jorge Masvidal remains adamant that Justin Gaethje would be an “easy fight” for him.
Putting his BMF title on the line for the very first time, Gaethje went to war with former featherweight champion Max Holloway. Suffering a broken nose in the early going, ‘The Highlight’ struggled to find his target for much of the 24:59 affair. With time winding down, Holloway called for the two men to stand in the center and throw hands until the final horn.
Appearing on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, the promotion’s first-ever BMF champion once again suggested that Gaethje would make for the perfect opponent should ‘Gamebred’ decide to give it one more go inside the Octagon.
“I don’t want to talk too much sh*t since he just got f*cking flatlined, but I’m hoping our paths cross in the UFC, you know, cause this would be, like, a very good comeback fight for me, easy fight for me,” Masvidal said. He’s literally just walking forward, eating shots, no head movement. No nothing.
“It’s nothing personal, but I would definitely love to bust f*cking Gaethje’s face up. I’ll let him heal up from this because he might never come back the same because that was a war that he went through and on top of that, he got f*cking executed. Gaethje can say whatever he wants. I don’t really give f*ck about it, but if our paths ever cross, I’ll light that motherf*cker up.”
Jorge Masvidal questions how much life justin gaethje has left
After suffering such a brutal knockout, Masvidal can’t help, but question how much the 35-year-old Gaethje has left to give inside the Octagon.
“Gaethje always finds a way to come back, put on great shows, and keep fucking winning. But this one was bad,” Masvidal said of Gaethje. “He was out for a good amount of time, like two minutes, and when they sat him up he was still visibly hurt. I hope he makes a full recovery and comes back to the sport stronger than ever, but you just don’t know when you take a knockout like that…
“It wasn’t just that, it was a lot of abuse to the body. I thought Gaethje got the short end of the stick and got more of the abuse, and his nose too…this fight might’ve taken a lot of years out of Gaethje.”
What’s next for ‘The Highlight’ remains to be seen, but as for Holloway, a featherweight title clash with reigning champion Ilia Topuria appears to be the next logical step.
Before his incredible second-round knockout of Aleksandar Rakic in the featured prelim at UFC 300, ‘BJP’ was spotted standing alone outside of T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. User @OGICEY posted the viral clip on X, noting that the former light heavyweight champion was in the same spot for roughly 20 minutes.
Speaking with media members following his second-round finish against Rakic, Prochazka was asked about the video and what led him to stand outside the venue moments before his fight.
“Yeah, that was me,” Prochazka said at Saturday’s post-fight press conference. “That’s my ritual, which I’m doing before every fight.
“When you are peaceful and quiet in yourself and when you are really connected to yourself, to the best version of yourself, and when you know what will come, what is before you, one day or two days or a week, it doesn’t matter, you have to work on that every day. They name that the ‘law of attraction,’ so you have to just follow your vision in an honest way” (h/t MMA Fighting).
In the beginning, things looked rough for Jiri Prochazka as Rakic repeatedly peppered his lead leg with a bevy of brutal calf kicks. Undeterred, Prochazka continued moving forward, walking down ‘Rocket’ determined to add another highlight-reel-worthy finish to his resume.
The moment came near the two-and-a-half-minute mark of the second round when Prochazka blasted Rakic with a booming right hand that had his opponent reeling. From there, it was just a matter of time.
His unrivaled intensity and aggressive approach inside the Octagon have made Prochazka one of MMA’s most feared combatants. Still, ‘BJP’ does not mind if fans approach him to say hello while he’s out and about, even if it’s before a big fight.
“I’m not a psycho,” Prochazka said when asked about other people in the video who may have thought to approach him. “It doesn’t matter, we can talk, we can whatever, but there is a time when everybody wants to be alone with our things. That’s my kind of meditation.
“That’s something when I started at 16 years old in high school with these things, to watch my visions of my best version in this life and follow them. This was that video, when I’m doing these things, because when you really want something, it’s not you want something. That dream, that vision wants you too and your work is to stay courageous and take action. That’s all.”
Jiri Prochazka bounces back following brutal loss to Alex Pereira
The big win over Rakic at UFC 300 scored Prochazka a history-making $300,000 performance bonus. But for him, it wasn’t about the extra paycheck, nor was it about competing at one of the biggest events in MMA history. It was about redemption.
“For me, it was not too much about the event, but after my last fight in New York with Pereira, it was for me important to make a spark inside myself,” Prochazka said. “To show to myself that storm, that hunter inside myself, and I’m very glad for that. Very glad.”
Pereira went on to finish Jamahal Hill in the first round of their UFC 300 headliner, potentially setting the stage for a rematch between ‘Poatan’ and Prochazka.

Off the back of his stunning first round KO loss to dominant champion, Alex Pereira at UFC 300 over the course of the weekend, Jamahal Hill hopes to position himself in a title-eliminator fight against former champion, Jiri Prochazka in his return – claiming he simply “dared to be great” in his return from injury.
Hill, a former undisputed light heavyweight champion and the first Dana White’s Contender Series product to win Octagon gold, made his return atop UFC 300 over the course of the weekend, dropping a devastating loss to Pereira.
Sidelined since defeating the Brazilian’s close friend and training partner, Glover Teixeira back in January of last year, Illinois native, Hill was finished with a brutal left hook from Pereira at UFC 300 inside the opening round, with a slew of follow-up fights forcing a stoppage.
Sharing his thoughts on his loss, Hill sought out an immediate return to contention in the form of a would-be title-eliminator against Czech Republic native, Prochazka – after the pair failed to lock horns amid months of speculation last year, with an achilles rupture forcing Hill to vacate gold.
“I dared to be great against adversity and against a great challenge and came up short at the highest level in the world,” Jamahal Hill posted on is official X account. “I answered the call twice on short-notice to fight for a championship that most will never fight for. On to the next @jiri_bjp least [sic] final [sic] make it happen.”
“To the people that support me I’m good don’t let haters get to you,” Jamahal Hill explained. “I’m winning in life so having to eat a lose [sic] like a man is what it is. They will be quite [sic] when the next man drops.”
Who wins in a future title eliminator: Jamahal Hill or Jiri Prochazka?
