Born in South Dakota, Ben Nguyen will get the opportunity to compete in his hometown of Sioux Falls later this year at UFC Fight Night 91.

The promotion added Nguyen-Louis Smolka to the July 13 event from Denny Sanford Premier Center. The main card airs live on FOX Sports 1.

Nguyen (14-5) moved to Thailand to train before landing in Australia. He has won eight fights in a row, including two with the UFC.

Smolka (10-1) has scored wins in four of his five Octagon appearances, besting Paddy Holohan and Richie Vaculik. His lone loss came to former title contender Chris Cariaso.

Kyle Noke meets Keita Nakamura at welterweight, while Scott Holtzman takes on Cody Pfister and Tim Boetsch battles Josh Samman.

Noke (22-8-1) has gone 6-4 over 10 Octagon appearances, including a 3-1 record he put together at one point. Nakamura (31-7-2) is just 1-4 with the promotion.

Boetsch (18-10) is in need of a win over three straight losses dropped his UFC record to 9-9. Samman (12-3) had his three-fight win streak snapped by Tamdan McCrory in December.

Holtzman (8-1) suffered his first career defeat at the hands of Drew Dober in January, while Pfister (12-5-1) is coming off a loss to Sage Northcutt in late 2015.
