The test results for Nate Diaz’s UFC 202 fight with Conor McGregor last month are in — and no marijuana was found.

Although he wasn’t found to have any marijuana in his system, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he won’t be facing a potential sanction from the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Jeff Novitzky confirmed to MMAFighting.com this week that Diaz’s USADA tests for his UFC 202 fight last month are in, and the Stockton native passed them.

However, it’s worth pointing out that USADA is still reviewing Diaz’s use of cannabidol (CBD) oil in a vape pen at the UFC 202 post-fight press conference immediately after his fight with McGregor.

While his tests did come back clean, Diaz telling the media at the post-presser that he was vaping CBD oil could fall under the “self-admitted use” clause of the UFC’s Anti-Doping Policy with the UFC.

Featured above, via MMAFighting.com, is a video archive of Diaz’s UFC 202 post-press conference where he admits using CBD oil in his vape pen.

While making the media rounds for this Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 95 event in Brasilia, Brazil, UFC President Dana White spoke about what the future holds for Invicta FC Featherweight Champion and rising UFC contender Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino inside the world-famous Octagon.

“Cyborg is a huge star in the sport of mixed martial arts and in women’s MMA,” said White during an interview this week with GLOBO. “She mows people over very quickly and very violently. People are waiting to see her get challenged, and we’re trying to challenge her. I think that when you talk about a headliner, somebody as big and as dominant and as scary as Cyborg is — she is a definite headliner — and obviously she is Brazilian, and she’s a big star down there. She’s a big star all over the world.”

Regarding specific matches, White claims the dream match would still be Cyborg vs. Ronda Rousey, but also mentioned former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champions Miesha Tate and Holly Holm, as well as current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes as potential opponents down the line.

“The dream fight for Cyborg is obviously the Ronda Rousey fight, but there’s other big names out there,” said the UFC President. “Miesha Tate, Holly Holm and possibly — and I know Brazilians don’t like seeing Brazilians fight — but possibly Amanda Nunes.”

Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino battles Lina Lansberg in the main event of this Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 95 event from Brasilia, Brazil. The show airs live on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) in North America.

It appears as if we can finally get past the notion that Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor are going to square off, at least according to “Money” himself.

Mayweather recently told FightHype that he has moved past fighting McGregor, the reigning UFC featherweight champion.

There were reports at one time that Mayweather offered $50 million to face McGregor, who himself was demanding $100 million for the fight.

“I tried to make the fight happen,” Mayweather admitted in the interview. “We (weren’t) able to make the fight happen, so we must move on.”

Of course, anyone who has followed the career of Mayweather closely knows that a simple change in the direction of the wind can undo anything he has previously said.

As a proud New Yorker, there’s nothing Al Iaquinta wants to do more than face Thiago Alves this November at UFC 205.

But he can’t.

Iaquinta, who has battled injuries over the course of his Octagon career since finishing as runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter, recently told FOX Sports that his current contract just isn’t cutting it.

“I got the contract and I was just looking at it for a couple of days. I was like I just can’t sign it. I can’t do it. I felt like it wasn’t right. I talked to my manager, I said listen I really want to fight in New York. There’s nothing I want to do more than fight in New York, but I can’t take a pay cut for this fight,” he said. “I’m taking a pay cut from all of my sponsors. I’m taking a pay cut of all the last 18 months of the sponsors that could have been. I told (my manager) that I wanted more. I wanted to have a conversation with the UFC and see if they would do some kind of negotiation because when I signed my contract, there was no Reebok deal.”

Iaquinta (12-3-1) has been out of action since earning a split decision over Jorge Masvidal early last year. He has taken up a job selling real estate in New York to make money.

If you enjoy watching Cris “Cyborg” Justino compete inside the Octagon for the UFC, you might want to make sure to tune in this weekend for UFC Fight Night 95.

According to UFC president Dana White, the promotion is not planning on adding a featherweight division – or any other for that matter – in the near future.

“Obviously it’s been very popular and the women have done very well, but as far as the expansion I think it’s inevitable as the sport continues to grow,” White said in an interview with Globo. “But no plans in the near future, no.”

Justino, the current Invicta FC featherweight champion, made her long-awaited UFC debut at 140 pounds recently. Her fight with Lina Lansberg in the main event this weekend will also be at that weight.

White did mention that 115 pounds could be the next division to come into play if there is expansion.

“As far as a heavier division, no I don’t see that happening,” White said. “I don’t see that happening any time soon, but the 115-pound division continues to get bigger.”

Amanda Cooper and Anna Elmose will meet at UFC Fight Night 99, the promotion announced recently.

Cooper and Elmose are both searching for their first Octagon win after dropping their debut fights.

In her first UFC fight, Cooper (1-2) was bested by Tatiana Suarez in the finals of THe Ultimate Fighter 23. She earned wins over Jamie Moyle and Lanchana Green to advance to the tournament championship.

Elmose (3-1) was 3-0 before making her Octagon debut and losing via knockout to Germaine de Randamie at bantamweight. This marks her first fight at 115 pounds.

UFC Fight Night 99 takes place November 19 from Belfast, Northern Ireland and is expected to stream live on UFC Fight Pass. Gunnar Nelson vs. Dong Hyun Kim is the planned main event.
