By now everyone has heard the rumors regarding a potential boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, and “The Notorious” one seems to be well-aware of that fact.

McGregor took to social media this weekend to fuel the rumors, as he posted an unofficial fight poster for the rumored McGregor-Mayweather bout on Instagram.

It’s worth noting that despite online rumors, which stem from a report by The Sun out of the U.K., UFC President Dana White has stated that there is no truth to the McGregor-Mayweather boxing match rumors. MMAFighting.com reporter Ariel Helwani has also noted that there is nothing to the rumors.

Regardless, that doesn’t seem to be stopping McGregor, as he continues to use the rumors to his advantage. Below is the aforementioned fight poster that McGregor put up on Instagram on Saturday.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. recently spoke with EsNews about the rumors regarding his son, legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. possibly competing in a boxing match against UFC mega-star and reigning 145-pound champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor.

While UFC President Dana White quickly shot down the rumor, which first emanated from The Sun out of the U.K., Mayweather Sr. said he remembers his son telling him about possibly coming out of retirement to box “some kind of MMA fighter.”

“He had told me the other day that he’s going to take another fight,” said Mayweather Sr. in the interview, which you can watch above. “He told me it’s [going to be against] some kind of MMA fighter.”

Regarding the rumored boxing match, which appears to be nothing more than a wild, unfounded rumor, Mayweather Sr. obviously seemed confident in his sons chances against the Irish UFC star.

“We’d beat the hell out of that man,” said Mayweather Sr. “My son can whoop him. He’s dead.”

Ahead of her Octagon debut at UFC 198 in Curitiba, Brazil later this month, Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino appeared on Power 106 in Los Angeles and reacted to the recent video that surfaced online that showed former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey working out at the beach.

Among the various workouts she performed at the beach in the video that leaked online earlier this week, which you can watch below, Rousey did some shadow boxing. It was that particular exercise that caught the attention of “Cyborg.”

“I watched her last training,” Justino said during her appearance on the L.A. radio show. “She was doing shadow boxing on the beach and her shadow won.”

Cris Cyborg is scheduled to make her Octagon debut at UFC 198 against Leslie Smith on Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Curitiba, Brazil, live on pay-per-view.
