UFC Sacramento is quickly approaching and thus, the promotion for the upcoming event has started with the official poster.
Germaine De Randamie vs. Aspen Ladd in a women’s bantamweight bout will serve as the headliner. In the co-main event, Urijah Faber vs. Ricky Simon in a bantamweight will take place. You can see the official poster that was released by the Las Vegas-based promotion here:
This event is slated to take place on July 13, 2019, at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The main card and preliminary portion will air on ESPN+. Here is the updated card:

UFC president Dana White is certainly not one to shy away from angry fans on social media.
It was recently announced that women’s bantamweight Germaine de Randamie would face Aspen Ladd in the main event of UFC Sacramento which takes place July 13.
When White posted the news of the fight on his Instagram, he was soon bombarded with comments from fans angry at the lack of a high-profile main event. Others complained about the overall strength of the card as well.
One fan in particular wrote: “This card [is] trash. Sacramento fans deserve better, man.” To which White had one simple bit of advice to not only him, but any other unhappy fan: “Stay home f*ck face.”
When another fan responded to White calling him “classy as always,” the UFC president responded with a middle finger emoji accompanied by “yes sir.”
While De Randamie vs. Ladd is not a high-profile main event, it’s still a bout between two highly-ranked contenders.
It’s also unfair to call the entire card bad when there are some interesting ranked bouts taking place. Not to mention, the return of bantamweight legend in Sacramento’s own Urijah Faber.

It looks like a women’s bantamweight bout is being finalized for the main event of UFC Sacramento.
According to a report from MMA Junkie, subsequently confirmed by ESPN, former UFC women’s featherweight champion Germaine de Randamie will be facing off against Aspen Ladd. The show goes down from Sacramento, California on July 13.
It already features the return of former multi-time bantamweight title challenger Urijah Faber, who is coming out of retirement to face Ricky Simon. Bout agreements have not yet been signed for Randamie vs. Ladd, but both sides have verbally agreed to the contest.
Ladd comes off a unanimous decision victory over Sijara Eubanks at UFC Rochester earlier this month. As for Randamie, she hasn’t competed since November when she defeated Raquel Pennington via unanimous decision. She is currently on a four-fight win streak, not having lost since 2013 to Amanda Nunes.
