The ‘Black Wolf’ Nazim Sadykhov scored his second-straight win inside the Octagon, finishing Terrance McKinney in the second round of their main card matchup at UFC Vegas 77.
What started as a fairly competitive contest in the opening round, quickly evolved into a dominant second round for Sadykhov, only needing 67 seconds in round two to make ‘T-Wrecks’ tap out. The ending came when McKinney attempted a takedown but was quickly overpowered, allowing Sadykhov to reverse position and end up in mount. McKinney gave up his back in an effort to escape the unfavorable position. In the process, McKinney’s arm became trapped behind him, allowing ‘Black Wolf’ to cinch in a rear-naked choke and force McKinney to submit.
Official Result: Nazim Sadykhov def. Terrance McKinney via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:07 of Round 2.
After dropping his first career mixed martial arts bout, Sadykhov is riding a nine-fight winning streak, the last two coming inside the Octagon. With the loss, McKinney falls to 3-3 under the UFC banner, dropping three of his last four contests.

Strawweight standout Istela Nunes saw her night end early and in horrific fashion in her prelim bout against Viktoriya Dudakova on Saturday night at UFC Vegas 77.
Nunes entered the bout 0-3 inside the Octagon and was desperate to score her first win in the UFC. Sadly, that moment would not come, but that was the least of her concerns after suffering a brutal dislocated elbow injury less than a minute into the bout. As both women moved toward the center of the cage, Dudakova shot in for a single-leg takedown. In an attempt to defend, Nunes twisted her body and attempted to post on her left arm to stay upright. Almost instantly, Nunes’ elbow popped out of place, forcing the referee to step in and call for the stoppage immediately.
Nunes’ screamed out in agony as the broadcast offered up another look at the grueling injury via instant replay.
Official Result: Viktoriya Dudakova def. Istela Nunes via TKO (elbow injury) at 0:34 of Round 1.

Ahead of her own return tonight in the main event of UFC Vegas 77, former bantamweight champion, Holly Holm has stressed that former foe and former two-weight champion, Amanda Nunes has no fear toward former gold holder, Julianna Peña – in the wake of her retirement last month.
Holm, a former undisputed bantamweight champion, returns to the Octagon for the second time this year, headlining against surging Brazilian grappler, Mayra Bueno Silva – attempting to land her second consecutive victory following a unanimous decision win over Russian veteran, Yana Santos at UFC Fight Night San Antonio back in March.
As for Nunes, the Bahia native headlined UFC 288 back in June against common-foe, Irene Aldana, defeating the Mexican in a one-sided unanimous decision win to defend her bantamweight crown – before announcing her retirement from competition with immediate effect.
And in the aftermath of Nunes’ decision to walk away from the sport, Washington native, Peña claimed that the Brazilian was fearful of defeat against her, claiming she skirted a championship trilogy rubber match.
Holly Holm defends Amanda Nunes’ decision to retire following UFC 288
However, as far as Albuquerque veteran, Holly Holm is concerned, Nunes’ decision to retire was not influenced by an apparent fear of ex-champion, Peña.
“(Amanda) Nunes didn’t retire because she’s scared of (Julianna) Peña,” Holly Holm told MMA Fighting ahead of UFC Vegas 77. “We all know that. But Peña beat Nunes fair and square. Who knows what was going on. I’m not trying to take away from Peña at all. She went in and she won that night, so I take nothing away from that, but Nunes is not scared of Peña.”

However, speaking during her media availability ahead of UFC Vegas 77 this weekend, Holm, who is chasing a vacant bantamweight title fight with a victory over Silva this weekend, has welcomed the possibility of a future re-run with Rousey.
“I don’t know if she’ll (Ronda Rousey) really come back,” Holly Holm told assembled media. “I mean, who knows if it’s just talk? I know she’s a very competitive person. There’s a reason why she was an Olympian and there’s a reason why she was a champion for so long.”
“I would absolutely revisit that fight and at either weight [bantamweight or featherweight],” Holly Holm explained. “I don’t really think that’s an advantage or disadvantage depending on the weight. We’ll see if she comes back. I know that she’s been pretty busy with her life and whatever she wants to do. More power to her – but if she comes back, that would be great to fight again.” (Transcribed by Sportskeeda)
