After quickly taking Eddie Mendez to the mat, Sarafian wasted no time in locking up an arm-triangle choke from mount for the submission victory. Do you think Sarafian brought Mendez to dinner with him because he felt so bad about destroying him? What does this result mean for both fighters?

The second fight pinned Erick Silva vs Jason High, and Jason’s high lasted about 30 seconds. On a night with eight submissions, Erick Silva’s was deemed the best — netting him an extra $50,000 in bonus money for “Submission of the Night.” Silva stopped Jason High with a first-round armbar to get back in the win column after a loss to Jon Fitch this past October, and he looked impressive in doing so.

The next fight on the card was Thiago Silva vs Rafael Cavalcante. Thiago Silva said he had a score to settle with Rafael Cavalcante, and he certainly fought like it on Saturday night. In the final minute of a blistering first round, Silva backed Cavalcante up against the fence with a punch combo that put the former Strikeforce champ on the defensive, then dropped him to the mat with a right uppercut that spelled doomed for Cavalcante at 4:29 of the first round.

The final fight and main event of UFC 160 was a rematch between heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez vs Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva. Early on, it looked like “Bigfoot” might have a chance as he deftly avoided Velasquez’s immediate takedown attempt, and then shrugged off a second attempt just moments later. There was no leg kick opening this time. Instead, Velasquez settled in on the feet, flashing a jab and moving forward. When Silva finally decided to load up on a big shot, the champion wasn’t just ready for it, he countered with heavy straight shots right down the pipe, dropping the giant Brazilian.

Kevin and George from the Uncut Sports Show give their UFC 160 post fight highlights from every fight on the main card from this past Saturday’s UFC 160 event headlined by Cain Velasquez vs Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva 2. Junior dos Santos used a spinning heel kick to knock out Mark Hunt in the co-main event of UFC 160: “Velasquez vs. Bigfoot 2″ last night (Sat., May 25, 2013) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Cigano” and “The Super Samoan” had spent the previous 14 minutes waging war, exchanging monstrous punches with the deadliest of intentions, some of which landed to seemingly no effect. In fact, Hunt survived an overhand right in the first round that would put any mere mortal to sleep in an instant. Perhaps it did more damage than we realized when he popped right back up, because the spinning kick that finished the job didn’t appear to be thrown with the devastating power Dos Santos puts behind his punches. Either way, it finished the job and put “JDS” in line for another shot at Cain Velasquez and his heavyweight title.
