Things continue to spiral out of control for former UFC star Jason “Mayhem” Miller, who was arrested again on Monday.
Fox Sports writer Mike Chiappetta broke the news in a Twitter post on Tuesday.
While details surrounding the arrest are scarce, it wouldn’t be any surprise if this is somehow connected to Miller’s pending domestic assault case involving his estranged girlfriend.
In August, Miller was arrested twice for domestic violence in roughly a two-week period. SciFighting.com attended Miller’s arraignment in Orange County, California, where he was accused of choking and urinating on the alleged victim.
Miller has proclaimed his innocence and denied all charges in light of the allegations.
Life outside of MMA hasn’t been too kind for Miller, who was released from the UFC last year after a two-fight skid. About a year ago, he was arrested in Orange County when police found him naked inside a church.
Miller is no longer an active MMA fighter. He announced his retirement shortly after being released from the UFC. While he has generated a cult following for his wild antics and bizarre behavior, UFC President Dana White has admitted to never really being a fan of Miller.
In an interview with MMAFighting.com, White stated that Miller wasn’t exactly a “normal” individual, let alone a UFC fighter. He isn’t a fan of the “Mayhem” act, and he doesn’t even think of him as a UFC fighter:
“I don’t think you can compare him to any other fighter. He’s always been … let’s just say, not normal. His life is bad enough without me adding to it. It drives me crazy about fighters doing this. The guy has had 40-something fights and he’s only fought in the UFC three times and he’s never won one fight. People like to talk about him ‘Oh, he’s retired and a UFC fighter.’ He’s not a UFC fighter. This guy fought in the UFC three times and never won one fight. I wouldn’t compare him to any one else in the sport because I never met anyone like ‘Mayhem’ Miller. I’m not a big fan, I never have been a fan, and I’m not gonna be a fan anytime soon.”
Sadly, Miller has come a long way from dancing in a Jason mask and throwing money into the crowd during his MMA walkout. Wherever Jason Miller goes, mayhem is sure to follow.
