Nate Diaz has his fans scratching (and detractors shaking) their heads yet again. This time due to a confusing tweet regarding his upcoming fight with Gray Maynard. Via Twitter:
@ufc Cant make it november 30th ive gotta high school reuinion i have to tend too…

Diaz is scheduled for a rubber match with Maynard at The Ultimate Fighter season 18 Finale event on November 30. The two first fought during The Ultimate Fighter season 5 in 2007, with Diaz winning via second-round guillotine choke. They fought again in 2010, with Maynard taking a split decision victory.
This tweet, though, may put the fight in doubt. Or maybe not. You never know with Nate Diaz.
This isn’t the first time Diaz stirred up controversy on Twitter. Earlier this year he ruffled feathers by saying “I feel bad for pat Healy that they took a innocent mans money and I think the guy who took the money is the biggest F** in the world.”
The tweet was a response to Pat Healy having Fight of the Night and Submission of the Night bonuses taken from him after his bout with Jim Miller due to a failed drug test from marijuana use. The money for Submission of the Night was then handed over to Bryan Caraway, who discussed his opposition to marijuana use and his lack of sympathy for Healy, angering many (including Diaz) in the process.
Diaz was suspended by the UFC for 90 days, and fined $20,000 for the offending tweet. However, he fired back with this:

It is unknown at this time whether or not Diaz is even serious or if he is just trying to illicit a reaction from MMA fans. If he has officially signed on for the fight, however, it is unlikely he would be able to make good on his wishes.
Regardless, keep an eye out here for updates as they become available.
