UFC on Fox 16’s Edson Barboza is known for his spinning kicks, and he added another one to his highlight reel on Saturday…but not in a good way. Opposite Paul Felder, the Brazilian muay thai specialist landed a devastating wheel kick to the cup.

Ouch!
While that looks awful, Felder recovered superhumanly quick. While MMA‘s rule book affords fighters five minutes to recover from a shot to the cup, Felder was on his feet in about a minute and was back in the fight well before the timeout had elapsed.
Felder showed no ill effects from the shot…but that did not make too much of a difference for him. Barboza would continue peppering him with kicks (all of which landed to legal areas) en route to a unanimous 29-28 decision win.
