Sports apparel company Reebok has apologised after it was discovered it had been selling UFC merchandise in the name of “Anderson Aldo.”

The item seemed to be tailored for fans of Brazilian UFC icon Anderson Silva, given the description of the fighter as a “the Spider” and a “middleweight.” However, it appears some confusion has led to the name of Jose Aldo’s, another Brazilian UFC superstar, being included on the shirt.

“Unfortunately, an error was made at one of our printing facilities,” a PR representative from Reebok told MMA Fighting’s Luke Thomas. “We are currently working to rectify the issue.”

Here’s a look at the item that was on sale, and has since been removed from the company’s website, per theScore:

Thomas added Reebok claimed “the error is the result of a mistake made at a single manufacturing location.”

Reebok and the UFC began a six-year partnership worth a reported $70 million (£46 million) in July, making the brand the company’s official outfitter.

Silva, regarded as one of the greatest fighters in the sport’s history, is in the twilight of his distinguished career. The last time he fought was in January this year in a bout against Nick Diaz that was originally a unanimous decision win for the Brazilian. However, it has since been ruled a no-contest after both men tested positive for banned substances.

Aldo is currently ranked as the top pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC and is also considered one of the finest MMA exponents ever. His featherweight title fight with Conor McGregor on Dec. 12 is one of the most anticipated fights in UFC history.
