The three-fight saga between UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard will finally come to an end in the main event of UFC 136. After the two 155-pounders battled to a draw at UFC 125, UFC president Dana White opted to give Maynard an immediate rematch and another chance to take Edgar’s belt.
In Saturday’s co-main event, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will attempt to defend his belt against Kenny Florian. Florian, who fell just short in multiple lightweight title shots, will be looking to taste UFC gold for the first time in his career.
