Chael Sonnen is not shy.

This we know.

After Vitor Belfort crumpled Michael Bisping into a tidy pile of British waste in the main event at UFC on FX 7, “The Phenom” took the microphone in his post-fight interview and issued a challenge of the highest order.

Take that punk Chael Sonnen…get him out. Dana, Lorenzo, kick him out. Let me fight Jon Jones. I need that rematch. Take that clown away. Go home…You did a reality show. Go home. Let me fight the real champion. Champion against champion, not that clown.

This, of course, did not sit well with the trash-talking king of the microphone, Chael P. Sonnen

Just minutes after Belfort issued these words forth, Sonnen responded bluntly and amazingly—as always—on the panel of the UFC on FX 7 post-fight show.

Per MMAmania.com, Sonnen retorted:

Let me be real clear and speak direct with you, Vitor: you’ve been telling the world that you’d like to meet Jesus. I’d be glad to arrange that travel. But, first, I’m going to get rid of Jon Jones. But, you are next. Let me be clear: Vitor, I accept. Don’t make any mistake about that. You have called me out twice now, once after I signed a contract to fight Anderson Silva and once when you know I was busy with Jon Jones. I accept.

Never one to back down from a challenge, Sonnen smoothly and aggressively responded to Belfort in perfect fashion.

The man’s tongue is sharper than a diamond-plated bear claw, and engaging in a war of words against Uncle Chael is highly inadvisable.

Mr. Belfort, I hope you learned your lesson.

Take a number, and wait your turn; Chael P. Sonnen is a busy, busy man.
