Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Jack Marshman is making his way back to combat sports — but “The Hammer” won’t be competing in mixed martial arts (MMA). Instead, Marshman will be ditching his gloves after signing a multi-fight contract with BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting Series.

“The addition of Marshman is just a small sign of things to come. We are only getting bigger, badder and better,” said BYB’s European Director of Operations and former BKB co-founder, Jim Freeman. “I’m ecstatic about the opportunity to work with Greg [Bloom] and the [BYB] team to continue to grow BYB and the sport of bare knuckle across the globe.”

Freeman and his team from BKB merged with BYB Extreme earlier this month. Expect “The Hammer” to make his debut for the bare knuckle promotion at some point this summer.

Marshman, 34, compiled a 23-10 record in MMA, also competing for Cage Warriors Fighting Championship and BAMMA across the pond. The Welsh slugger was last seen dropping a unanimous decision to Sean Strickland at UFC Vegas 12.

BYB Extreme returns on June 14 with “Brawl in Duval” in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jake Paul accused of juicing after showing off incredible heavyweight transformation: 'Steroids will do that'

Jake Paul is looking thick ahead of his showdown with ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.

On Friday, July 20, ‘The Problem Child’ will make his 11th walk to the squared circle for a clash with the former undisputed heavyweight world champion inside the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The fight will broadcast live on Netflix around the world and will be backed by a stellar undercard that already includes the most anticipated rematch in boxing history and Darren Till’s long-awaited debut in the sweet science against legendary pugilist Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Eight weeks away from what could very well become the most-watched fight of all time, Jake Paul shared a video of himself on social media, showing off his new heavyweight physique.

“I’m a natural-born heavyweight,” Paul said at the kickoff press conference. “This is what I was born to do: to move up into this weight class. I’m going to show Mike who has more power because he’s underestimating me. I think everyone else is underestimating me and I believe that I hit harder. I know it’s going to be tough. I know I’m going to have to fight through adversity.

I know I might even go to the canvas. I’m scared, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not about the fear stopping me. It’s about going into it, even though I am scared. That’s what true bravery is.”

Jake Paul Accused of Using PEDs ahead of Tyson fight

Fight fans online were quick to call out Paul, particularly on the “natural” part, accusing the YouTube star of juicing ahead of his tussle with Tyson in The Lone Star State.

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will collide with WBA, IBF, and WBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk atop the “Ring of Fire” pay-per-view (PPV) boxing event this Sat. night (May 18, 2024) in Saudi Arabia, and both combatants are scheduled to appear at today’s final press conference in Riyadh.

The LIVE stream gets underway at 2 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.

“It feels absolutely fantastic to be in the great Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I’m feeling fantastic,” Fury said during this week’s Grand Arrivals (watch them here). “I can’t wait to put a good show on. There’s so many people coming. It’s such an event. All the big stars are here. It’s going to be epic. I can’t wait for Saturday night.”

Fury insists this is the most important fight of his career.

“If I was fighting an old dosser on Saturday night who had five fights and lost them all, it would be very important to me,” Fury continued. “Every fight I’ve ever had is important to me. Every little fight along the way was important to me. I believe that every left and right turn I’ve ever taken in my life, every time I’ve fallen over, and every time I’ve climbed up was all leading to this moment. It’s destiny.”

Bobby Green set to fight Paddy Pimblett in grudge match at UFC 304 in Manchester

Calling his shot for a clash with polarizing grappling talent, Paddy Pimblett on enemy territory in Manchester, perennial lightweight challenger, Bobby Green is slated to meet the Liverpool star at UFC 304 on July 27. from the Co-op Live arena this summer.

Green, the current number fifteen ranked division contender, featured at UFC 300 back in April, landing a one-sided victory over veteran fan-favorite, Jim Miller over the course of three rounds in a bloody affair.

As for Pimblett, the former undisputed Cage Warriors featherweight champion has been sidelined since last December, where he took home his own dominant unanimous decision win over common-foe, former interim champion, Tony Ferguson on the main card of UFC 296.

Bobby Green faces Paddy Pimblett in UFC 304 grudge match

UFC CEO, Dana White confirmed the pairing of Bobby Green and Paddy Pimblett at UFC 304 this summer in the promotion’s return to Manchester.

Prior to his victory over surefire Hall of Fame star, Miller, San Bernardino native, Bobby Green had dropped a hellacious KO defeat to Jalin Turner last year, which snapped an impressive two-fight winning spree.

Racking up a main event return knockout win over American Top Team star, Grant Dawson, veteran contender, Green had previously submitted the above-mentioned, Ferguson with a late third round arm-triangle choke.

Boasting an undefeated record inside the Octagon since his landing back in 2021, Huyton native, Pimblett has recorded consecutive wins over Luigi Vendramini, Kazula Vargas, Jordan Leavitt, Jared Gordon, and the above-mentioned, Ferguson.

UFC 304 is slated to take place on July 27. From the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England – with an undisputed welterweight championship rematch fight between Leon Edwards, and Belal Muhammad set to take main event honors.
In the co-headliner, interim heavyweight gold holder, Tom Aspinall takes on perennial contender, Curtis Blaydes in another title fight re-run.

UFC 304 will be topped by Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad for the welterweight title, along with Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes for the interim heavyweight strap (details here).

I guess he does “want that” after all.

Lightweight sensation Paddy Pimblett will look to break into the division Top 15 when he battles ranked veteran Bobby Green as part of the upcoming UFC 304 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Sat., July 27, 2024 at Co-op Live in Manchester, England.

UFC CEO Dana White announced the booking earlier today on social media.

Pimblett (21-3) is undefeated in five trips to the Octagon and was last seen capturing a unanimous decision victory over the fading Tony Ferguson at UFC 296. As for Green (32-15-1, 1 NC), he rebounded from a knockout loss to Jalin Turner to outpoint Jim Miller at UFC 300 just last month.

“Bobby Green screamed my name on the mic after [UFC 300],” Pimblett said on YouTube. “Didn’t surprise me, know what I mean? He might be ranked, but he’s got no followers and he needs me. Just like everyone else, they want to fight me because they know I’m the boy. Bobby Green’s an option. If Bobby Green wants to fight, I’m there.”

I guess that Renato Moicano fight will have to wait.

UFC 304 will also feature the featherweight showdown between Arnold Allen and Giga Chikadze. Elsewhere on the card, Manel Kape and Muhammad Mokaev hook ‘em up at flyweight, not long after Bruna Brasil and Molly McCann collide at 115 pounds.

Stay tuned for more UFC 304 fight card announcements in the coming days.
