Bellator welterweight fighter Dillon Danis has never been shy about expressing how he feels on social media and this week is no different as him and Jake Paul’s Boxing Coach, BJ Flores have been trading verbal jabs about not only the potential Jake Paul boxing match, but Danis fighting Flores in the boxing ring with small gloves or no gloves at all.

This rivalry has been brewing for a couple of weeks now ever since Paul ambushed Danis with a drive-by water balloon attack while he was filming an episode of Food Truck Diaries with Brendan Schaub on Showtime last month, that many fans and media members think was staged. Since then it has been full steam ahead on social media between the two.

On his Instagram story, Danis has been posting screenshots of Paul’s boxing coach calling him out, with Flores saying “Any fucking time you want to meet me in the boxing ring. You won’t last 1 fucking round. Small gloves, no gloves, you pick. #anywhere #anytime #anyokace”

Flores is a pro boxer who has a record of 34 wins, 4 losses and one draw. He has challenged for the IBO and WBO Cruiserweight titles.

Danis responded by saying “You don’t say let’s meet in a boxing. Let’s have a real fight we both put up 500K winner take all! Jake Paul gonna need a new coach though cause every limb in your body will be snapped in half when i send you back crying to him.”

He then proceed to post screenshots of him and Jake Paul’s DM conversations. They are very lengthy but they basically go back and forth calling each other out for making excuses for why the fight has not been scheduled yet.

Danis then says on his Instagram story that “The reason Jake Paul has been quiet is that I got some heavy heavy info on him, he’s been bullying people into hiding for years. Too bad lil guy, you messed with the wrong gangster! I want all the smoke.”

Finally, Danis posted this clip of him hitting the bag across all social media:

Who do you think will win if the fight between Jake Paul and Dillon Danis actually happens?

Set to return from his two-year retroactive USADA suspension in the coming days, former two-time UFC bantamweight champion, T.J. Dillashaw is expected to surprisingly see a potential immediate shot at Octagon gold floated his way.

The Californian is currently serving a two-year retroactive suspension issued by the United States Anti-Doping Agency, after he provided an in-competition drug test sample which returned a positive test result for the banned substance, erythropoietin, otherwise known as EPO.

Slapped with the sidelining following his January 2019 UFC Fight Night Brooklyn title challenge defeat to former flyweight kingpin, Henry ‘Triple C’ Cejudo, Dillashaw, who was attempting to add the 125-pound title to his bantamweight spoils suffered a quickfire opening-round knockout loss.

Vacating his bantamweight championship, Dillashaw released a statement in which he detailed how he had been notified by USADA that they had uncovered some “adverse findings” in a test sample provided by him, ultimately resulting in a two-year retroactive ban.

Maintaining that he will fight for the undisputed championship upon his Octagon return, Dillashaw, who has recently been the subject of call-outs from both former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, and New England Cartel staple, Rob Font — may find himself as a challenger from the get-go on his return.

Speaking with ESPN MMA reporter, Brett Okamoto recently, UFC president, Dana White claimed the promotion would consult Dillashaw about his thoughts on receiving an immediate shot at bantamweight spoils upon his Octagon return, and if he’s ready for such a prospect.

We gotta talk to him (T.J. Dillashaw) about that,” White said. “He would know the answer to that question better than we would.

Riding a four-fight winning run prior to his first frame knockout loss to the since retired, Cejudo — Bang Muay Thai trainee, Dillashaw had earned a title matchup with former Team Alpha MMA teammate, Cody ‘No Love’ Garbrandt via a couple of unanimous decision wins over Brazilian duo, Raphael Assuncao, and John Lineker.

Finishing his Ohio rival via a second-round knockout, Dillashaw seized the bantamweight throne, rallying from a buzzer-beating first-round knockdown in their UFC 217 co-main event.

Headlining UFC 227 in August of 2018 against Gabrandt, Dillashaw improved to 2-0 against the former champion, this time stopping the power-puncher with first-round strikes after a wicked exchange in the pocket which the former failed to recover from.

While bantamweight counterparts are sure to question Dillashaw’s case for an immediate title tilt off the back of a rather frowned upon suspension, current titleholder, Petr ‘No Mercy’ Yan is finally slated to match with perennial contender, Aljamain ‘Funk Master’ Sterling at UFC 249 in March — as part of a triple-header of title fights.

Brandon Moreno wants to remind Deiveson Figueiredo that the two have unfinished business.

Brandon Moreno has put Deiveson Figueiredo on blast for suggesting a BMF flyweight title fight with former UFC two-division champ Henry Cejudo, reminding ‘Deus Da Guerra’ that the two have unfinished business following their five-round slug fest at UFC 256 that saw the latter retain his flyweight title with a majority draw.

“Hey @daico_deusdaguerra I heard you want to be the flyweight BMF, but I want to ask you how you want to be a BMF if you can’t beat a little Mexican kid, I don’t want to talk sh*t about you brother, you know, not my style,I just want to remember you have unfinish business with me.

“I know you don’t want to see me again in a long time but tell me what kind of champion you are ?PD.- you need to fight if you want to buy more of those f*cking ugly clothes you wear.@wallidjfc translate please.End of the message. !!” Moreno posted on Instagram last week.

Is Moreno hyping up their inevitable rematch or does the 27-year-old Mexican scrapper have a legitimate grievance with the reigning flyweight champion? Only time will tell, but this has all the makings of one of the most exciting rivalries in UFC flyweight history.
