Dana White really knows how to take care of his fighters, making them all feel unique and well appreciated.

He’s just not good with names, or remembering to input them in mass mailings.

UFC fighter Darren Uyenoyama recently received a giant hug of appreciation in the form of a letter from Dan White, only it failed to include one specific item that would have made it perfect, the fighter’s name.

Instead, it was an obvious general letter that went out without “fighter” being changed to “Darren Uyenoyama.”

Here is the letter as sent to the masses via the 33-year old’s Instagram feed.

And there were those who picked up on the gaffe right away, as Chris Nelson did via Twitter.

The missive from his boss no doubt resulted from Uyenoyama‘s efforts back on October 5, when he beat Phil Harris at a UFC on FX event in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Fighters go out and kill themselves in the gym and on the mat, trying to get better and lengthen their careers.

The sacrifice is immense and rewards can be few and far between, so it’s nice that the man behind UFC is kind enough to show some thanks.

Still, you would think he would learn his fighter’s names.
