The sport of mixed martial arts is a lot like our everyday life.

Things don’t always go the way we anticipate and somewhere along they way we’ve felt slighted or overlooked.

In other cases it’s not even about respect, but simply a case of unfortunate timing.

As we look into the UFC, we’ll find fighters who are deserving of a title shot but aren’t in the current position to earn one.

So, the following slides display seven fighters who deserve a title shot right now.

Anderson Silva.

Arguably the greatest mixed martial artists to have ever been affiliated with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

“The Spider” is often recognized as the most dominant champion in UFC history as he’s compiled a record-setting nine consecutive title defenses.

In fact, Silva hasn’t lost a legitimate bout since the end of 2004 when he fought with the organization of Pride.

Not only has Silva set himself apart from his fellow fighters, but he’s done it in style.

As we saw at the not-so-famous UFC 112, Silva danced the night away in a five-round decision victory over Demian Maia.

However, that wasn’t the only dancing the fighting legend has taken part in as he’s recently been identified busting his moves on stage with young pop star, Justin Bieber.

The music doesn’t stop there as we can all recall the famous Michael Jackson interpretation entrance during his days with Pride.

If it weren’t for the height difference, Silva could have easily been mistaken for the late, great Jackson.

Silva’s impressive dancing skills have stirred up many discussions of whether or not Silva should take part in next season’s Dancing with the Stars.

However, it’s not the hip-hop skills that will help win Silva the crown, but a style directed towards ballroom dancing.

Shockingly enough, Silva has also done his fair share of ballroom dancing.

In a recent video release, Silva can be seen dancing to “Ainda Bem” by Marisa Monte.

As we’ve seen over the past few seasons, the dancing aspect plays a crucial part in the competition, but so does popularity.

Silva has rapidly become one of the most popular athletes on the planet and is hands down the most-known mixed martial artist.

Silva’s exceptional dancing skills and popularity leave fans with one question.

Could Anderson Silva win Dancing with the Stars?
