Coming off of a win against Mike Pyle at UFC 133, where he employed vicious ground and pound after less than four minutes in the first round, there is a lot of talk about what is next for “The Waterboy.”

Since UFC 140 is taking place in Canada, that is most likely where his next fight will be scheduled. Some say give him Fitch, while others want him to go against the winner of Hardy/Lytle matchup. The 22-year-old shows some amazing ability to one day make it to the top, but first he needs to be put to the test.

Who could bring the fight to the 22-year-old?

According to ESPN, MacDonald stated his interest in having a rematch with Carlos Condit. However, Condit is fighting BJ Penn, so a rematch probably won’t happen any time soon. I say put MacDonald up against the winner of Lytle/Hardy.

A fight between MacDonald and either one of those two would definitely make for a good show.

With Brock Lesnar expected to return in early 2012, there is a lot of talk that his first fight back will be Frank Mir.

Rumor or not, I have heard a lot of people talk about how a third battle between the two might go down.

People have also been rumoring a possible Carwin vs. Lesnar II. I have heard many people say that Lesnar and his return will disappoint and that he will just become a mid-card heavyweight.

Regardless of who he faces and when he returns, this is a question on the minds of many fans. People want to know if he will ever return to the top of the food chain or not.

Myself included.
