The Ultimate Show recently conducted an exclusive interview with UFC lightweight Gray Maynard.  Currently ranked as one of the top lightweight fighters in the world, Maynard has been taking some time off since his last fight.

He is currently set for a June 22nd bout with Clay Guida at UFC on FX 4. Guida is another top-ranked lightweight fighter in the world who brings a good chin and toughness to the upcoming fight. Like Guida, Maynard treats fighting as a job and is looking forward to an exciting fight.

When asked about a rematch with noted rival Frankie Edgar, Maynard responded enthusiastically. The Ultimate Show recently sat down to interview with heavyweight fighter Shane del Rosario. Discussing his car accident last April and his comeback to fighting at UFC 146 on May 26.

Following a string of victories in Strikeforce, del Rosario was rear-ended in an April 2011 car accident. Shane suffered several herniated discs as a result of the accident, which forced him to take nearly a year off from training.

In hindsight, Shane claims that the accident was a good thing. It allowed him to take time off from training, refocus his life and get healthy. He now feels that he is in his best shape ever and will showcase a cleaner and smoother fighter than fans have seen before.

Del Rosario looks forward to spending the next three months training for his return to fighting on the big stage against a big-time opponent in fellow heavyweight Gabriel Gonzaga.

Del Rosario plans to make his UFC debut a big splash and come out with a win.

Kenda Perez recently spoke with Ultimate Fighter alum Mac Danzig about the new season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Despite being a big Cruz fan, Danzig believes that Team Faber will be able to win. His advice to the contestants is to not get distracted by the drama and remember they are there to compete and to win.

Danzig is back with his original trainer, Rico Chiapparelli, who to Mac is the most respected guy in all of UFC. Danzig feels that being back with his old trainer, he is learning again, and that his new training will showcase a smarter and more tactful fighter in the ring.

When asked about any holes in his future opponent, Efrain Escudero, in the upcoming UFC 145, Danzig responded that his opponent’s willingness to get drawn into the superficial aspects of the fight is his main weakness.

Mac hopes to exploit that weakness and fight a smart fight. Mac’s prediction is that he will go in and fight a smart and exciting fight, coming out with the victory.
