Martin Kampmann is no stranger to blood, sweat and tears in the Octagon. Since making his UFC debut in 2006, Kampmann has fought arguably some of the best the UFC has to offer.

After suffering back-to-back losses to Jake Shields and Diego Sanchez, Kampmann’s title shot was slipping away fast. But after an impressive knockout of welterweight  “Juggernaut” Jake Ellenberger, Kampmann finds his name back in the thick of conversation for title-shot contenders.

Before Kampmann gets to that level, he must first get past the heavy-handed Johny Hendricks. Hendricks is no slouch in the Octagon, coming off an impressive knockout of Jon Fitch and win over Josh Koscheck.

Bleacher Report got a chance to sit down with Kampmann to get his thoughts on everything from GSP to the Jon Jones/Anderson Silva superfight and his next opponent Johny Hendricks.

In just a few short days Georges St-Pierre makes his long awaited return to the octagon in his home country of Montreal, Canada.

It’s been nearly a year-and-a-half since St-Pierre was sidelined by an ACL tear and in that time a new interim champion was crowned. His name is Carlos “the Natural Born Killer” Condit. Of course we have “Stitch” Duran’s return to The Ultimate Show to display how to use an ice pack properly in between rounds. We got Team Alpha Male Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach Dustin Akbari to stop by again to show us one of his moves of the week.

The Ultimate Show got the extreme privilege to sit down with the explosive welterweight Martin Kampmann, who is set to face off against Johny Hendricks on the undercard at UFC 154.
