Aleksander Emelianenko Picks Up TKO Win At M-1 Challenge Event

M-1 held it’s own event this past weekend in Saint Petersburg, Russia at the Ice Palace culminating with a heavyweight bout between Alexander Emelianenko and Lithuanian Tadas Rimkevi?ius in the headliner for the M-1 Challenge 31 show. Emelianenko would pick up his second straight win by finishing Rimkevi?ius via TKO in the second round.

Also picking up a win at the M-1 event was Jeff Monson, who earned a split decision over opponent Alexey Oleinik. It was the second straight bout under M-1 for Monson, who lost a decision to Fedor Emelianenko last November.
