In our co-main event of last night’s (Saturday November 26, 2016) UFC Melbourne event in Malbourne, Australia, two of the hot rising prospects in the UFC talent-stacked 155-pound division went head-to-head, when Andrew Holbrook and Jake Matthews went to war.
Matthews, a 22-year-old prospect fighting out of Epping, Victoria, Australia, comes off a devastating first round TKO loss to Kevin Lee in their meeting at The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale (TUF 23 Finale) earlier this past July.
Holbrook comes off his first Octagon defeat to Joaquim Silva at TUF 23 Finale as well, after making a successful debut with a split decision win over Ramsey Nijem at UFC on FOX 16 this past January.
