Carlos Condit won’t hold anything back when he steps into the cage with Georges St-Pierre at UFC 154 on Saturday night.

The UFC interim welterweight champ is prepared to do whatever is necessary to ensure he leaves Montreal with the undisputed title, even if that means testing out St-Pierre’s injured knee.

“In the cage, you can’t say, ‘Oh wait, that’s off limits.’ There’s no timeouts, there’s no substitutions and there’s no saying my knee is off limits. This is a full contact sport,” Condit said during an interview on FUEL TV’s “UFC Tonight.”

St-Pierre has been out of action for well over a year after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL, an injury that has historically ruined the careers of many professional athletes.

Condit is one of the best kickboxers in the entire division. It would be ludicrous to think he wouldn’t attempt a few leg kicks to see how St-Pierre reacts.

With that said, Condit isn’t hinging his entire strategy on St-Pierre’s knee not being 100 percent. He will utilize a steady dose of leg kicks as usual, but fans shouldn’t expect anything out of the norm.

“I’m not going to say that I’m going to be leg kicking any more or less than I would before,” said Condit.

After defeating Nick Diaz for the interim title in February, Condit has a rare opportunity to achieve a lifelong dream in ousting one of MMA‘s all-time greats and becoming the UFC undisputed welterweight champ.

He’ll enter the octagon on Saturday night as a major underdog in front of St-Pierre’s hometown fans in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

This will be the biggest fight in Condit‘s professional career, and the stakes couldn’t be any higher.

“This fight is something I’ve been working towards for 10, 12 or 15 years, since I first started competing, not even competing, just training in Mixed Martial Arts. This is a dream of mine, and to fight Georges St-Pierre in his hometown for the undisputed belt, it’s surreal and an opportunity of a lifetime for me,” Condit said.
