While she hasn’t made a full recovery just yet, semi-retired adult film star Christy Mack has made a lot of progress since her alleged brutal August 9 attack by former Bellator/UFC welterweight War Machine.
Mack posted a photo collage on Twitter on Saturday, showing how she looked two days, two weeks and four weeks after getting physically beaten—as well as a shot from two days ago—where she looks pretty close to her old self (the older photos may be NSFW).
She also provides a decent amount of detail regarding her recovery in a text-based picture that accompanies the collage.
… I still have a few more dental visits to go. I’ve had my eyes checked out and made aware that I’m very lucky to have my vision where it is, since the muscle is tethered by the fragments from the blowout fracture in my left eye. My multiple nose fractures will be fixed in the next couple months … While my face is stating to look decent again from the swelling going down, it is still not my own … It’s hard to look in the mirror every day and see someone you do not know.
War Machine, also known as Jon Koppenhaver, is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center until a scheduled October 17 court hearing, per KTNV.
Prior to his first court appearance on September 3, as KTNV reported, an amended criminal complaint has the Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt facing an incredible 32 criminal charges in the matter.
The 19-fight cage veteran has previously stated that the violent event that took place on August 9 was a result of him acting in self-dense.

War Machine hasn’t competed inside the cage in 11 months, the last time being when he suffered a submission loss to Ron Keslar under the Bellator banner.
He has also dealt with serious legal issues in the past, serving jail time in 2012 following a 2010 felony assault incident in a San Diego bar, per TMZ Sports.
