Boxing’s biggest draw announced via social media on Sunday evening that a boxing match between himself and reigning UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor is on and will air live on pay-per-view.

As previously reported, sports journalist Colin Cowherd announced that a Mayweather-McGregor boxing match on PPV would be taking place live from Las Vegas, Nevada on September 17, 2016.

In the past several years, Mayweather has fought exclusively on May and/or September.
