On Thursday, Joe Schilling told MMAFighting.com that “I just think anybody that says they’re gonna stand up with me is just blowing smoke.”
Interesting— Hisaki Kato would probably disagree.
In his U.S. debut, the Japanese fighter landed a lethal superman punch on Schilling, a known knockout artist himself, at Bellator 139.
“Fans tuning in for this fight are going to be hoping to see a knockout,” Kato told MMA Weekly on Friday. “I plan on delivering exactly what they want to see. I’m coming out there to put Joe Schilling on the canvas. I’m coming to take him out.”
Message received.
