John Lineker is out of his scheduled fight with Cody Garbrandt. The fight was supposed to take place at Sunday’s UFC Fight Night 83 event. Lineker had to pull out of the fight to dengue fever.

Pedimos desculpas os fãs que estavam esperando a luta neste domingo, logo teremos uma nova data contra o mesmo oponente Cody Garbrandt. Pedimos desculpas a @cody_nolove eu sei o quanto é ruim fazer toda preparação e não poder lutar, todos nós saímos prejudicados, porém tem coisas que não podemos evitar! Agora precisamos aguardar para que a luta seja remarcada. UFC Fight Night 83 takes place at Pittsburgh’s Consol Energy Center on Sunday, February 21st, 2016. The prelims will air on UFC Fight Pass with four fights at 5:15 p.m. ET/2:15 p.m. PT and the final four preliminary bouts will be shown on FS1 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The main card will air on FOX Sports 1 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT with six bouts.
The UFC has yet to announce a new opponent for Garbrandt. It’s possible that the UFC pulls Garbrandt from the event and re-books this fight for another event.
